Jake's POV
"Hey, Jake, are you crawling back to me now? Have you missed me too much?"
I clenched my hands into fists. "I don't want to talk to you, Isabella." Her eyes bugged and she opened her mouth again, probably to tell me what a big jerk I am.
"What do you mea—" she was cut of by a strange looking girl.
The girl was tall with wavy brown hair and suspicious looking blood-red eyes. She had on skinny jeans that looked like they had been through a lawnmower and a tight red tank top that showed off her curves. This girl's name was Veronica Retsworth, and she was the craziest girl in school.
Veronica jumped onto the the table and spun in a circle. She stopped in front of me. "Hey Jakey! How's my favorite boy in the school?" I ignored her and she poked my forehead. "Jakey? Are you there?" Finally she lost interest in me and turned to Alexandra. She jumped off the table and eyed Alexandra closely. "You're not dating my Jakey, are you?" She seemed to inspect her. "I don't know why he's like you. You're too pale and your hair looks like it's dead! And your eyes! Who has gray eyes anyway?!"
Alexandra looked like she was going to explode. "No, we're not dating! And what do you you know about normal looking eyes?! Yours are red!"
Veronica winked at her. "Ah but men are attracted to red eyes!"
Izzy didn't seem to like being ignored. "Excuse me! Veronica this is my table! Get away from it!" Veronica rolled her eyes.
"Oh sorry miss Queen Bee. I didn't mean to intrude on your hive." She looked around. "Oh! Did you pay all of these people to be worker bees?"
"At least I don't wear fake contacts to make people like me!"
Veronica laughed. "They're real sweetie! At least I don't speak stupid lies about people because I'm mad!" Izzy's whole face flushed. A boy at the other table caught Veronica's eye. "Oh! Well, I guess this is where I leave!" She motioned to me. "Call me, Jakey!" At that, she raced off to follow the unfortunate guy.
"What did she mean when she said you spread lies about people?" Alexandra asked Izzy with curiosity.
Izzy laughed. "Oh she doesn't know what she's talking about! She's crazy!" At this, she glared at me, as if daring me to say something. As an answer, I stood up.
"I'm not hungry." I turned on my heel and sped out of the room. Two sets of footsteps followed me, so I presumed that John and Alexandra was following me. Normally, I can out-walk John pretty easily, but unfortunately, it seemed Alexandra was pretty fast too.
"Hey Jake! What's wrong with you? Why're you annoying one minute, and then quiet the next?"
"It's not your problem!" I don't you why, but suddenly, I felt like I needed to yell at someone. The moment passed and I turned again.
"Hey! I'm talking to you, you know!"
I turned the corner with her tagging along. Now I know what John must feel like with his younger sister following him everywhere. "Jake!" I didn't want to talk to her, so I went into the one place she couldn't follow me. The boy's locker room.

Hey! I added a new character, this one dedicated to Secrets404 . She asked me to change the name, if you are confused, and if you still want to be in my story still, just go back on to the previous chapter and comment! Love Y'all!
