Chapter 4: That Was Uncalled For!
Remus’ POV
I was on my own for the week.
Daniel, Nicole and Harry were at Hogwarts.
Rhiannon had no games all week so she and Stephen offered to look after Leo and Victoria so that I could have a break.
So I decided to visit Ivy’s grave.
I hadn’t been in a long time so I thought it was worth a visit.
* * *
I’m sitting in the cemetery in Godric’s Hollow.
Ivy always said she loved this place so we buried her here.
I’m sitting in silence when I get the most bizarre idea.
It’s not that I’ve forgotten what she looks like, but it’s been ten years so I want to check to make sure my memory isn’t betraying me.
I take a deep breath and point my wand at the gravestone.
“Accio coffin.” I whisper.
The coffin lifts out of the ground and I take a deep breath and unlock the latch.
She’s there. Just like I left her ten years ago. She looks the same. Still as beautiful as ever.
“I miss you so much.” I whisper.
And then I see something.
Her eyelids fluttered, not much, but enough to prove there was still life in the body.
I stand up, surprised.
And to my amazement, Ivy sits up in her coffin, alive.
“Ivy?” I ask.
She looks around, bewildered.
“What happened?” She asks.
I can’t contain myself anymore.
I lift her out of her coffin and hug her tightly, never wanting to let her go.
“I’ve missed you so much.” I tell her, tears glistening in my eyes.
“What happened?” She repeats.
“I’ll tell you later.” I tell her.
She nods. “Ok. Let’s go home. I want to see my babies!”
I laugh. “They’re not babies anymore Ive!”
She looks at me, confusion in her eyes. “What do you mean?”
“You seriously don’t know what happened do you?” I ask her.
She shakes her head innocently.
“Greyback cursed you. You fell over a cliff. We all thought you were dead. So ten years ago, we buried you and today, I wanted to see your face, so I dug up your coffin and then you moved.” I tell her.
Tears are rolling down her cheeks.
“What’s wrong? Are you hurt?” I ask her.
She shakes her head. “I missed ten years of their lives.”
I hug her tightly, trying to comfort her.
“It’s ok. They’ll forgive you. I know them.” I tell her.
She smiled sadly at me. “Yes, you know them. I don’t.”
“You have the rest of their lives for that Ives.”
She nods and kisses me softly.
I can’t believe it.
I haven’t kissed her in ten years. And it feels just like the first time we kissed. Back in our seventh year on the Hogwarts express.

Is anyone else surprised?
I am. I kind of surprised myself!
I felt really bad for killing Ivy so I thought I'd revive her.
I know it's a bit bizarre but as my best friend once told me, 99.999% of anything Harry Potter related is bizarre!
