Chapter 5: Who's This?

Ivy’s POV

Remus and I disapparated home and when we got there, I was amazed to find out, we were still at Hogwarts.

“Let’s go surprise Rhiannon, shall we?” Remus asked.

I nodded enthusiastically and we disapparated.

I waited behind, standing behind a big tree. Remus knocked on the door and a beautiful blonde woman answered the door. I gasped. The last time I saw Rhiannon, she was a shy twelve year old.

“You can come out now.” Remus called.

I took a deep breath and left my hiding place.

Rhiannon took one look at me and burst into tears.

I hugged her tightly, waiting for her to finish crying.

She pulled back and looked at me.

I smiled warmly and she grinned back.

She couldn’t believe it was actually me.

“Where are my twins?” I asked her.

“Stephen took them to a muggle place called a cinema.” Rhiannon told me.

“Who’s Stephen?” I asked her, smiling warmly.

She blushed furiously and led us inside.

“So tell me. Who’s Stephen then?” I said once we were inside.

“My fiancée.” Rhiannon whispered.

Remus clearly wasn’t expecting this answer as his head shot up the moment the words left Rhiannon’s mouth.

“Judging by your father’s reaction, I take it you’re newly engaged.” I said.

She nodded looking a bit uncomfortable.

“What else?” I asked her.

“We’re having a baby.” She whispered.

I smiled, tears forming in my eyes.

“You’re supposed to wait until after you get married to have children.” Remus told her, pretending to sound angry.

“I’m learning from you then, clearly.” Rhiannon said smirking.

I burst out laughing at this.

Then I heard the sound of an apparition and I tensed up.

A boy, basically a male version of me, and a girl who looked like Remus ran into the room, followed by a tall young man.

The young boy walked up to me studying me carefully.

He then stuck out his hand.

“Leo James Lupin.” He told me.

I smiled at him.

“It still sounds perfect. Just like it did ten years ago.” I told him.

He looked at me, then turned to Remus looking confused.

“That’s your mother.” Remus told him.

He faced me again and studied me carefully for a while before reaching out carefully and cautiously hugging me.

I hugged him back and we stood there for a while, frozen in time.

After Remus explained the situation to the twins, things become a lot more comfortable.

I met my future son in law and he’s lovely.

I also found out that while Nicole and Leo are just like me, Dan and Victoria are just like Remus.

I truly do have the best family ever.
