Harry's POV:

The next morning he was woken up by Ron. After getting dressed and waiting for Hermione in the common room, they went to get breakfast in the great hall.

"So, Harry," Hermione said. "How was your meeting with Professor Dumbledore last night?"

"It was good," Harry replied.
"You know what I mean. What did he say?" She asked again.
"Oh," Harry replied. "The thing is, Hermione, there's too many people around right now so I'd rather tell both of you in Charms"

Harry saw Hermione glance at Ron, who shrugged, but she didn't reply again so he just left it at that.

Thank goodness Charms was their first lesson that day so Harry didn't have to keep the secret for long.

He told them all about Dumbledore's theory with the Horcruxes and that, to kill Voldemort, Harry would have to destroy them all. He also reminded them about Tom Riddle's diary and told them, that it was also a Horcrux that Harry had unknowingly destroyed at the age of 12.
"Dumbledore also said that he might have located the next one and that I'm going to go with him next week to try and find it," Harry said after explaining the whole story.

Hermione and Ron both looked confused but Ron was the first to speak.
"So you're telling me that Voldemort split his soul to never die?" He asked.

Harry nodded.
"Wow," Ron said. "No wonder he doesn't have a nose he barely has any soul left," he added which earned him a nudge and a warning glance from Hermione.

"Ronald," she scolded him and then looked at Harry.
"Has Dumbledore told you exactly how you can destroy the horcruxes yet?" She asked.

"No," Harry answered. "He doesn't really know that himself"

After Charms their day continued normally. Harry would occasionally see Draco across the halls and sneek little smiles which Draco would return. After having a short conversation at lunch, they both agreed to meet in the astronomy tower later that night.
