Draco's POV:

The next few days went by like a blur for him. Harry hadn't tried to contact him even once which relieved but also worried Draco.

He was unsure if Harry would ever even want to talk to him again but there was no time for him to worry. Now he had bigger problems on his mind. The dark lord was disappointed in him according to Bellatrix. He had expected Draco to carry this mission out alone.

,,But of course he's not surprised... When is the dark lord ever surprised?" Bellatrix was standing in his room, talking to him and cackled. Draco was barely listening. The past few days all he had to listen to was his fellow Deatheaters either making fun of him or telling him about the dark lord's disappointment. Draco was already sick of listening to their words. He never thought he would think like this but the only thing he wanted was to go back to school, to see Harry. He wanted to feel like he was safe again.

,,After your father's mistakes I don't think he expected much from you. But still, Draco. You could have done better..." She sounded happy rather than disappointed or pitying. She was even smiling in that evil way she always smiled while talking about his father. She stood in the doorframe for a few more seconds before turning around and leaving, slamming the door behind her.

Draco flinched at the loud sound. Ever since he had to leave Harry behind, he had been so jumpy. Everything was starting to scare him, no matter what it was. He could no longer sleep, food was out out of the question. He simply could no longer bare the sight of his own home. It didn't feel like the place he had grown up in. Escaping, however, was not an option either. Lord Voldemort had made that pretty clear as soon as the first meeting after Dumbledore's death was over. The whole house was being watched.

Harry's POV:

School was pretty much over. There were no more classes, the whole school was still grieving. This was the first year where Harry wasn't completely sure if he would rather stay at Hogwarts or even be at home with the Dursley's. But he knew something for sure: This would be the last year he woud spend in the castle. He had already found the note in the locket, stating that it was in fact a fake. But Harry would never let Professor Dumbledore die for nothing. He had set himself a goal to go out and find the remaining few horcruxes and destroy them so Voldemort would finally be defeated. He just had to figure out where to start...

Author's note:

Wow it has been a while since I last updated, hasn't it. First of all, I am terribly sorry for that long hiatus. I had so much to do with school and everything and had so many important exams this year. But now I definitely have more time to update. I'm actually doing an exchange for a year and in the new country I don't have to take any exams because of the language barrier so I can use all that time to continue writing. I have some big plans for this story so get excited! Again I apologise for being gone. I hope you enjoy this even though I think it's not very good. I haven't been writing a whole lot so I have to get back into the story again hahah. But anyway, I hope you have a wonderful day.
