Remi's POV

(Thursday night)

It was that time again. The time when Landyn would come over.

And once again, I was dreading it. As I did always.

I already had all of the project materials out in the living room. I was currently in the kitchen sitting at the bar, eating some apple slices and dipping them into caramel dip. Suri came out suddenly, glancing at me, " Why's all of your school stuff laying out all over the living room?" she asked.

"Hmm, maybe because I have some school work to do?" I said sarcastically. She glared at me and then quickly snatched an apple slice from my plate.

"Hey!" I shouted, offended that she stole my food.

She smiled smugly, "That's what you get for being a jerk," she said.

I went to retaliate with an insult or something but the doorbell rang, stopping me. I sighed, not looking forward to dealing with Landyn.

"Who's that?" Suri asked.

I gave her a look that said stay out of it, "None of your business."

I got up and walked over to the door, swinging it open. Landyn stood there, wearing a gray Adidas sweatshirt with matching gray sweatpants and sneakers. It was a little chilly tonight.

I gulped.

He looked good.

Really good.

His dark hair was slightly a mess, all shaggy and hanging over, which made his appearance even more sexier. His piercing blue eyes seemed to look right through me, as always.

I bit my lip nervously. These thoughts were dangerous. Way too dangerous.

"You can quit drooling any time now," he suddenly said, breaking my thoughts.

I cannot believe I was actually thinking that Landyn Daniels was sexy. Oh my gosh, what has gotten into me?

I glared at him, "I wasn't drooling. And I never would over someone like you."

He was smirking, "You can admit that you find me attractive doll, I won't blame ya."

I scoffed, "There's nothing to admit."

"If you say so, darling. Are you going to let me in some time tonight or just keep staring?"

"I wasn't staring!" I yelled, annoyed.

He just laughed as I let him in finally, closing the door behind us.

Suri was standing there, almost as if she's been waiting on us, looking highly intrigued. Oh great. Here we go.

"Hi," she greeted, staring at Landyn intently.

"Hey what's up?" he replied, putting his hands in his sweatpants pockets.

"Oh nothing, just chillin with my sis," she laughed flirtatiously.

I rolled my eyes. Pathetic.

Landyn grinned, "Wow. You two really do look so much alike. Twins almost-"

"Definitely not twins," I cut him off abruptly.

I cannot believe he just said me and Suri looked like twins. I think I'm going to puke.
