A/N: Hi everyone!

There's a picture of Remi's velvet red dress that she wears to the party in this chapter. It's not the actress who plays her, but that's the dress that I envision her wearing.

I don't really have anything else to say, no announcements or anything lol....
So with that being said, enjoy the story 😊

Remi's POV

Today was Saturday.

I woke up and sat up in bed, yawning while stretching my arms.

I immediately checked my phone and still saw no messages or calls from Tanner. It was 9:48 AM.

I shrugged it off, he was probably still sleeping and would be messaging me as soon as he woke up.

I got out of bed and walked into my bathroom, brushing my teeth. I then took my hair out of the bun that it was in and ruffled it with my hands. It was all poofy and sticking up in random directions. I stared at my reflection in the mirror. My clean face looked healthy and normal, and for once, I didn't have any bags under my eyes.

All of the stressing and worrying about Landyn had went away last night when we could actually be civil with each other. Now I felt like a new person. I felt good. My skin looked radiant and my eyes were their normal bright happy color.

I smiled at myself. A dimple appeared on the right side of my cheek, I only had one.

I took my clothes off, getting in the shower then and spent about 30 minutes shaving and cleaning.

Tonight was the party, might as well make the most out of my appearance.

Landyn's POV

I dialed Bella's number and it rang three times before she picked up, "Hello?"

"Hey Bells, what are you up to?" I asked, giving the cashier the money as I walked away with my cappuccino. I decided to stop at Starbucks for a drink.

"A lot, I'm kind of busy right now with the whole party thing Landyn, so could you please just leave me alone for the day?" she said, almost like she was annoyed.

"You don't want me to come over and help or anything? I thought you wanted me over there," I replied.

"Uhm not really Landyn, I just have a lot on my mind right now. So I'll see you later," she said then I heard a noise and it hung up.

Alright then.

"Landyn!" I heard a high pitched voice yell. One that I didn't recognize.

I looked around until finally a girl appeared in front of me smiling, "Hi, Starbucks your favorite place too?" she said.

Suri. Couldn't forget those genetics.

"Hey Suri," I greeted. "It's definitely on my top 10 I'd say."

"How have you been?" she smiled flirty, playing with her hair.

"Pretty good," I nodded, "I was at the house yesterday with Remi but I didn't see ya there," I said, trying to make conversation.

"Yeah I was at a friends last night," she laughed, "How's your guys' project coming along? I'm sure that must get pretty boring being with Remi all the time."

I shrugged, "It's not too bad-"

"Oh but you know how my sister can be," she cut me off, "Very annoying and no fun at all. I mean that's probably why Tanner never liked her back," she laughed.
