Remi's POV

Today was Monday. It would definitely be hard to face everyone at school, but I guess I would just deal with it.

I had on some dark high waisted shorts and a white off the shoulder crop top, along with some white toed heels.

When I arrived at school, it was an understatement to say that some people were looking at me. I felt as if everyone was staring, no matter where I walked, someone was always looking. Whether it be full on staring or just glancing over and over again. People were talking and whispering. It bothered me a little, but not a whole lot. I was very well liked at this school, so I knew most of them would be whispers of curious gossipers that wanted to know the full story of what happened the other night.

I don't think Isabella was at school today, I didn't see her anywhere.

As I walked in my first period class, I saw Tanner sitting in the back where we usually sat together. I felt a tug at my heart and noticed as soon as he looked up, his whole body froze and he got a hint of something hopeful in his eyes.

I took a seat in the front of the class, the first ever probably, and looked straight ahead. I was just going to ignore Tanner. As much as it hurt me, I would ignore him. He didn't deserve my time or friendship. He didn't even deserve an explanation.

After about half the day went by, I was sitting at lunch with Asia and Rilee.

"You're not gonna eat?" Asia looked at me questioningly, taking a bite of a blue berry muffin she had.

I shook my head, "I'm not really hungry."

"Did you eat breakfast?" she asked.

I shrugged, "Nah."

"Did you eat yesterday at all? Remi you have to eat something," she said and I rolled my eyes.

"Asia, I'm fine, trust me. I'm just a little stressed. I'm still eating. I had a banana yesterday," I explained.

"Remi a banana isn't enough for a day," Asia said worriedly.

"You don't have to look out for me, I'm really okay. I can take care of myself," I said, giving her a reassuring smile.

"I'm sorry I didn't say much that night," Rilee chimed in. "I just didn't want to get into the drama. But you were hurt and I should have been there for you."

"It's okay, I had Landyn with me most of the time," a smile made its way onto my face. "He kept me company for the night."

"What?" Asia grabbed my arm shocked, "Landyn was with you for the whole night?"

I bit my lip and nodded, "Yeah he was definitely a big help."

"Oh my God Remi," Asia said, "You're just now telling me this? What'd you guys do?" she asked excitedly and I laughed.

"Well," I started, "Let's just say I'm not so innocent anymore," I winked and she gasped.

"No way," she said disbelievingly, "You finally lost your V card. I never thought this day would come."

"Wow, thanks," I laughed and she giggled.

"I just meant because I thought you were always waiting for Tanner and..." she trailed off, realizing what she just said, "I'm sorry, I totally forgot. Too soon."
