Miles POV:

The decorations were up, the cakes on the table, bowls of crisps and snacks were out. If you didn't know our family you'd think it was someone's birthday, that and the fact the balloons had it on them.

"Have you texted your sister? She still isn't here. It's not like her to miss her brother's party." Mum sighed getting stressed.
"I'm sure she's coming maybe she is in detention." I said hopefully and mum nodded and goes back into the house to get the drinks. I take a bowl of strawberry's and as much food as I can and carefully sneak it up to my room.

As I come back down I see myself in the hall mirror. I try and fix my hair so I look handsome enough for Olive to forgive me.
"How come you're nervous? I'm the one who hasn't seen my friends in weeks?" Hunter teases walking past me.

We walk out to the pool as we here mum inviting guests in.
Vijay, Baaz and Yael come out to see Hunter and greet him.

There's a cute but awkward "Hey" exchanged between him and Yael.

"I know Hunter didn't want me to say anything but I'm proud of you." Mum looks at him beaming.
"I second that." A man says. We turn and see Mr.Pomegray smiling in a pink shirt and grey tie. He pats Hunter on the shoulder and gives him a card.

Olivia emerges from behind him she looks so amazing in light blue, she never ceased to impress me, always slipping into a new dress that fitted her perfectly. As she sees Hunter she immediately puts her arms round him.
