"Okay, now who's hungry." Mum asked as she shoved her phone in her handbag.

"Me!" shouted Mel and Lily.

"Same here." the rest of us raised our hands while we were playing an endless game of flappy bird on our phone.

Mum raised an eyebrow.

"Ya know what, no phones." she took the three of our phones and shoved them in my dad's backpack.

"Wait, what?" Dad looked at Mum.

"No space in my bag!" she looked at him.

Madi looked at me and fake cried very dramatically. And I mean, like dramatic DRAMATIC. Like she put a lot of work into it. I guess it was to convince Mum how depressing it is. But it didn't work.

"Okay, now let's grab some lunch in a nearby cafe shall we?" said Dad as he trotted on with his fancy camera.

Dad liked taking photos, as he said it was to make sure our memories were safe. Until one day I asked him,

"What if you delete the photo?"

He answered me with,

"Oh. Well.. You can make sure you don't have a thing called a delete button! Ne, Summer-chan."

Ne meant 'Amirite?' in Japanese. My Dad would always call me 'Summer-chan' when I was little. It's usually said after a name for like kids and babies. (for example, Melody-chan.). Anyways, he still calls me Summer-chan to this day.
