"Okay, who wants what," Dad said passing the menus, putting Lily next to the chair beside him. "Chicken nuggets and fries or pizza, Lily?" He asked.
"Chicken nuggets pwease!" She said cheerfully.
"Good manners!" Mum said, patting her head.
"What about you kids?" She asked.
"Mel and I will share pizza." Madi said.
"Pasta?" Isaac looked at me.
"Yeah, sure." I said.
"We'll share." He said, passing the menu to Mum.
We ate our lunch and onto the cherry red double-decker bus.
-
"Okay, we're gonna go to the aquarium now." Mum said.
"Yay!" said Mel and Lily jumping up and down.
"Yaay..." said the three of us in sarcastic voices.
"Oh come on! Don't be such a party pooper! It's gonna be fun." Dad said walking on the gravel that lead to the aquarium.
"Now, we're gonna get tickets. And since I know you, 'teenagers' are going to get bored of me dragging you along, You get your phones back and you can go wherever you want in the aquarium. As long as you are in the glass zone." Mum instructed.
"Here are your tickets!" Dad passed them to each and one of us.
Madi, Isaac and I stuck together while Mum, Dad, Lily and Mel went off to the other zones. Eventually, I lost Madi so I ended up with Isaac.
Isaac wanted to go to the Shark and stingray area, but I refused. But at some point, I don't know how, he convinced me.
"Woah... This place is amazing..." his eyes glittering with wonder.
I took a deep breath. I'm scared of sharks.
I looked around.
Suddenly there was a big bump sound coming behind us. As we both turned around a shark with the sharpest teeth I had ever seen. Its mouth looked like it had eaten a human alive.
I let out a small scream and hugged Isaac tightly.
"Hey, you okay? Let's get out of here." He said taking my hand and pulling me towards the jellyfish tank.
I took another deep breath.
We sat on the bench in front of the pink jellyfish tank. Watching them flow in perfect timing. It was beautiful watching them.
