Chapter 10

"Oh yeah and one more thing! We're going to IKEA tomorrow to buy new beds for all of you since we are moving house." Mom said.

Since we were moving house, Mom sold all our beds including hers and she also sold our study tables. She said that we were getting new ones and she also said that we can re decorate our rooms. Just saying, but I think my Mom sometimes needs a little break, because she just does A LOT for us.

THE NEXT DAY

"Hurry up ladies!" Dad shouted from outside.

"Yes, yes we're almost done!" Mom shouted back.

"1 MORE MINUTE!" Mel, Madi, Lily and I shouted.

"Why do they take so long!" Dad said to Isaac.

"Exactly.. All we need to do is get dressed and eat our breakfast and brush our teeth.. How hard is that!" Isaac replied to Dad.

They both sighed. All of us girls came out of the door looking gorgeous and ready. (That's what I think we looked like.)

"FINALLY!" Dad said as he walked into the car.

He started the engine and we drove to IKEA. After 30 minutes, we arrived. We bought A LOT of stuff. We bought 4 new study desks for the study room, and we bought 5 beds. We also bought some decoration stuff and lamps and other pretty things as well. Mom bought Lily this princess canopy so that she could put it on top of her bed and feel like a princess.

After a long day of buying new furniture and things, we went home and packed more of our stuff into boxes for our new house.

We were all feeling tired so we had some dinner and fell asleep. (Don't worry we slept in our rooms not in the Dining room)

"Wake up!" Madi shouted.

"Oh myyyyy gaoshhh!" I groaned.

"Remember? We are moving houses today! We get to re-decorate our rooms as well!" Madi said excitedly. "Mom and Dad already moved all the boxes into the house and all there is left is you and your mattress and your blanket."

"Wait. EVERYONE IS UP ALREADY?" I asked.

"Yeah. Wait. NO. Everyone except you." She said giggling.

After talking and discussing about re-decorating I finally got out of bed and got dressed and we went to the new house.

The new house was very modern and it was a 1 storey house. It was only 1 storey, but it was very nice and spacious. There was 6 bedrooms and a place for the kids to study. The kitchen, living room and dining room were in a same room. My room had a door to Madi's room and I had another door that lead to Lily's room. In Lily's room she had a door that lead to Mel's room. In Madi's room she had a door that lead to Isaac's room.

I really liked this house as it looked really cool and modern. The bathrooms were very clean and I think Mom sprayed some air freshener inside the bathroom because before, it smelt like concrete.

I entered my room and I decorated it. When I was thinking of some decorations, I decided that I wanted a theme in my bedroom. My theme was white and pastel colors. I had a nook in my bedroom and I wanted to make that a little reading nook or a place for me to sit down and relax. I put on my white bed sheet and I made my bed. I was really happy with the result of my room. Everything was the way I exactly wanted and it was very bright and pretty.

After a while of decorating, I decided to check out Mel's room.

"Heyyyy!" She said as she put up some teal lanterns on her ceiling.

"Woah! Your room looks so cute! I love the style! Do you have a theme?" I asked her as I looked around the room.

"Well, my theme is teal and white so I'm trying to spray paint my pink lamp teal." She said as she went down the ladder.

I sat on her bed comfy bed with teal ruffles and white pillows. Lily and Mel entered the room.

"Hello girls!" Madi said as she put down her lamp.

"Hi!" Mel said as she looked around. "This room is great!"

"Thank you! I like your room as well!" Madi said.

After checking out Madi's room I headed to Mel's room. Mel had a theme and her theme was bright colors like yellow blue and pink. After looking at Mel's room I looked at Lily's room. Mom was putting up a pretty garland that matched with Lily's bed.

"You guys are all doing great on your rooms! Have you seen Isaac's?" Mom asked.

We all went to Isaac's room. Isaac's room was simple, but it had some of his personality in it.

"Cool room!" Mel said as she was looking around.

"Thanks! You have an awesome room as well!" He replied.

After complimenting each other, we were hungry and we went into the dining room and ate some cookies.
