Wisdom Tooth Accident

Last chapter: "I like you maxxy poo!"

Max's pov: My heart jolts when she says those words. Does she like me? I look at her and laugh. Nahh... she can't like me. She's amazing. "Jewel I like you too haha we're best friends." I say thinking she means as a friend. " Noo maxy I like like you" she then laughs and looks at the glow stars on the ceiling of the office.

"Jewel I do but... your just high on the anesthetic they gave you." I say, looking at her as she plays with the gauze in her mouth. "Jewel no don't do that, the gauze is there to help."

Jewel moans in frustration and gripes incoherent words that I'm sure would make me laugh if I wasn't worried about her pulling out the gauze.

"Maxy?"

"Yes jewel?"

"I-i-i think I'm a mermaid!"

I laugh and contain my sarcasm as I say "oh yeah?" She yells and looks at her feet.
"Yeah I can't see my feet maxy. I don't wanna be a mermaaaiiid! " I suddenly can't contain my laughter as I burst out guffawing at her silly antics.

I uncover her feet from the blanket and she looks at me. "Are you trying to undress me?!?" I snort and look at her. "N-no I swear I was just trying to show you that you're not a mermaid!"

She eyes me skeptically as if I would try to undress her on a normal daily basis.
"Mmmmmhhmmmmm...are you sure maxy?"

I nod hectically as I try to reassure her that I'm not a goofy perve...Most of the time.
"Yes I am sure that I wasn't trying to undress you."

She immediately starts crying.
"You wouldn't want to undress me?"

I start to panic. What do I say to this out burst? I immediately try to change the subject. "Hey jewel it's almost time to gooooo..."

She sniffles a little, but other than that there's no sign that she has been crying as she smiles blindingly at me. "Really?!?"

I smile and nod enthusiastically. Thank god that worked...

After we get home to my house I lay her on the bed and go to grab her some ice cream.
When I come back to the room I see that she's already fast asleep. I snort and eat the ice cream before I also get tired and go to bed. I start to sleep on the floor when Jewel suddenly wines.

"Maxxy...come sleep in the bed with me I'm cold..." she mumbles. This isn't uncommon
As we normally do sleep in the same bed.

I just thought that she might want some comfortable sleep before she starts to hurt more. "Okay Jewel I'm coming.." I get in the bed with her and she says "goodnight maxxy." Under her breath.

"Goodnight to you to Jewel." I whisper but before I can finish my sentence she's snoring peacefully once again.

Jewels pov : I wake up and for a few minutes I stare at the ceiling trying to figure out what happened today.

Then I feel a searing pain in my jaw, and the events of yesterday hit me. I got my wisdom teeth taken out... I wonder what I said?

I just hope it's not too bad. I get up and decide to 'help' maxxy get up too...mwahahahahaha-  that's my evil laughter going on inside my head...hey don't judge me, I'm too fabulous to be judged.

I grab the air horn off his bed and put it reeeaaallly close to his ear.
Then I scream "WAKE UP!" As I honk the air horn as much as possible.

You would think that he would screech or jump so high that he fell off the bed right?

Well...that didn't happen. He just snored a little and turned on his back and resumed sleeping.

So I did the only thing that there was left to do. I jumped on him. He woke up immediately and flipped us over so that he was on top.

He grinned as I squeaked in shock.
"Gotcha." he whispered.

Then he did something even more surprising...He kissed me.
I kissed him back for a while and fireworks flew. I then realized what was happening and pushed him away. "I think I should...go home now." I whispered.

He automatically got off of me like I had burnt him. "Yeah...I guess you should." He said awkwardly.

I walked home in silence and called my friend stacy and asked her to come over.
"It's important." I said, and walked into my house. "Max kissed me."

I know I know... it's still small. But the next one is gonna be even bigger then this.
