(hahaha, oh Lord...this day...*sigh*)
Paratix was released to the public today. I was 13. Not only that, but I was still doing parkour at the time.
(Wait...it that something you do? Like a drug?...no, parkour. Not Paratix.......okay.)
People were going bat shit crazy about this game. I didn't get what was so good-
(Okay I'm lying. It was cool at first...dude, you could do, like, anything. Except go Super Saiyan. That wasn't allowed. Anyways-)
Leaden, my brother, got an alpha release of the game and told me to as well...and I did. I played the crap out of that game. The simplicity of the game nearly killed me. Anyone who didn't play wasn't even in the game at all. Mom, Dad, anyone. I could have blown up my house and nothing would change if I go back to the real world. But if I come back to the game world, the house would be gone. Get what I'm saying? So, I had this katana. The one from when I was a kid, from when I graduated from that fighting class.
Leaden's name wasn't even Leaden. It was Blurri. He was a taller, kinda buff dude. He had little miniature sickles. Looked like he was in a biker gang. Which was cool. My name was Melchizedek. It came from the guy in the Bible with no origin or anything, but helped Abraham with his journey providing food and water and stuff. Thought it was cool. I still looked the same, but my eyes where a different color. Blue. Bright blue. Girl players loved it and so did I.
All my other friends where there, too. They kept their regular names, but different looks. Almost completely different. Almost the exact opposite. For a few months, we all just goofed around, did missions....
But then there was the first update.
[SPEAKING OF UPDATE...WRITER'S UPDATE]
I never thought I was going to come back to this book...or even this site to be honest. I stopped writing a long time ago to pursue my music, which I will still do, but I just thought that maybe this will help make me feel better about myself. Look forward to some updates and releases of my other books.
