"Robbert are you ready?" I asked as I walked out of the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn.
"Yeah" he said as we sat down on the couch and he grabbed some popcorn out of the bowl.
"What movie are we watching?" I asked
"Conjuring 2" he answered with a smile
"What I thought we were watching a funny movie" I complained
"But this movie looks good" he complained back
"But I don't like scary movies, they're scary" I argued back
"They're suppose to be scary, that's why they're called scary movies" he laughed
"Fine" I whispered sadly
"Hey, don't worry I'll be here in case you get scare. I'll protect you from the monsters" He whispered as he kissed my forehead and pulled me in closer as the movie started.
We were about thirty minutes into the movie and I was scared out of my mind. I was planning on telling Robbert that I was tired so we could stop watching and go to bed early. But when I looked up, I saw that he was so interested in the movie. So I just decided to stay and keep watching.
"Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed and buried my face into Robbert chest as a face popped out of no where on the screen.
"Is it gone yet?" I asked nervously still hiding my face
"Yeah it's gone" he answered
"Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed again
"I thought you said it was gone!" I yelled
"Well I didn't know it was coming back" he said laughing a little
The movie ended, Robbert went to go turn off the TV and put away the empty popcorn bowl.
"Baby are you coming to bed?" Robbert asked
"Yeah" I said as we started walking to the bedroom to get change
I came out of the bathroom to find Robbert laying in bed on his phone.
"Rob" I whispered as I climbed into bed
"Yeah?" he answered
"Can you check under the bed?"
"Really?" he laughed as he went to go check
"It's safe" he says
"Can you also check to closet to?" I asked
"Fine" he says as he walks to the closet
"Is there anything else you want me to check?" Robbert asked as he lay back down on the bed.
"No, I think we are safe" I answered
"Well I'll be here to protect you" Robbert smiled
"My knight in shining armor" I laughed as I pulled him into a kiss
He wrapped his arms around me as I laid my head on his chest.
"My princess " he whispered as he kissed my forehead.
