Chapter 5: Accidents Happen

I woke up with a smile on my face. Remembering that happen last night made my smile grow. I really was surrounded with the greatest people alive. Noticing that my phone was constantly vibrating, I picked it up and checked it. The time was 9:05 a.m and I had well over 150 notifications. I clicked on mine and Connor's conversation and read the 10+ texts that were sent.

[This Boy Is Mine <3]: Good morning babe :*

[This Boy Is Mine <3]: Babe, are you awake yet?

[This Boy Is Mine <3]: jayyyyyyyy. I hope you know that the longer you sleep, the longer I can't love you. Please wake up.

[This Boy Is Mine <3]: When you wakeup, I'll probs be penny boarding with J so I'll be back to make you lunch :)

I smiled at how cute he was. I didn't want to keep him waiting so I got out of bed and put on some shorts and a light purple tank top then went downstairs where the aroma of bacon filled the rooms. I went to the kitchen and saw Kian making some breakfast, shirtless. I walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder, making him jump slightly.

"Well good morning sleepy head." he smiled cheerfully.

"Well someone's in a good mood after storming out last night."

"Yeah. I realized that I was being immature. You can date whoever you want. I can't stop you. You guys deserve to be happy." he said as he placed some bacon on a plate along with eggs and handed it to me.

"Oh well thanks Kian. For that and this delicious breakfast." I said while taking a bite. It was really good. time be honest, I've always liked Kian. He was never rude to me and he never got mad at me. He was really sweet and quite cute. Why did I have to have feelings for him like this? Ugh. My love life is so difficult lately.

"You're welcome." he sat down across from me and started eating.

"Where is everyone?" I questioned.

"They went to pick up Amya from the airport."

"Connor texted me and said they were leaving at 10:30 though."

"Yeah. And it's 10:45 now." he said while looking at his phone. I glanced down at mine and it said 9:54.

"Hmm...that's weird. My phone says it's 9:54."

"Wow. That is pretty weird."

"So what are your plans for today?"

"I guess I'm gonna go penny boarding. Wanna join?"

"Yeah sure." I smiled. He looked quite happy that I agreed to go with him.

"Alright. Let me get a shirt on and then we can go." he said while putting our plates in the sink. I nodded and he went upstairs. I went to the living room and sat down. I turned on the tv and on the news, it said that a local teen had committed suicide last night but since I turned it on late, I didn't catch the name. It was sad what our society was going through lately.
