Chapter 12: Reasons

~Recap~

"Hey guys. This is Allison."

"Why is she here?" Kian questioned.

"Because..." Connor looked at everyone then back to the girl and spoke again. "...she's my girlfriend."

~JC's POV~

As soon as he said that, I wanted to punch him in the face. Everyone went quiet and I looked over at Jaycee. She had tears streaming down her face. I watched her as she ran upstairs then I turned back to Connor.

"What the hell man?"

"What?"

"Jay is your girlfriend for crying out loud. Not Allison."

"Well Jaycee basically broke up with me."

"She has amnesia."

"She was probably faking it."

"She wasn't.We showed her that video you made for her when she wanted to go back to Texas and she started remembering everything. But then you came home with Allison and now Jay is upstairs doing who knows what. And it's all because of you!" I started yelling. How could he be so damn insensitive?

"Well maybe....I screwed up. But maybe I wasn't meant to be happy. I'm just another idiot who screwed things up with her and I'm never getting her back." he went over to the couch and sat down slowly. Everyone gathered around him.

"You're a jerk Connor. Jaycee is the most perfect girl in the world and she's my best friend. I'm going to check on her." Trevor said before he headed up to Jaycee's room. I turned towards Allison.

"You need to leave." I said gesturing to the door. She got up and left without saying a word.

"Well I'm going to bed." Connor said. Everyone agreed and we said our goodnights before we all headed up to our rooms to go to sleep. Tomorrow is gonna be a long day

~Jaycee's POV~

I woke up the next morning and tried to process everything from last night. After Connor came home with that bitch, I went upstairs and cried while i listened to the yelling and fighting. Within a few minutes, Trevor came in and hugged me.

Last night was the worst night of my life. I missed Connor so much and I had cried myself to sleep while Trevor stayed and laid with me until I fell asleep.

I rolled over to look at my phone and saw that I had an unread text message from Cameron Dallas. I opened it up and read it.

Hey girl. miss you. I hope everything's okay. sorry for hitting you but I tried warning you. anyways, wanna hang out today? Hayes, Nash & I are going to film a video & we want you to be in it. so you in? :3

To: Cammy D <3

Sure. sounds like fun. and I missed you too :3

Awesome. we're coming to get you in like 10 minutes so be ready :3

I closed my phone and got dressed. As soon as I put my shoes on, there was a knock at the door.

"I'm going with Cam to film a video. I'll be back later." I said before walking out of the house and getting greeted by the boys.

"Hey. We missed you." Cameron said as he hugged me. Hayes hugged me after and the Nash. Cameron looked at my face and noticed that my eyes were still red and puffy. "Jay have you been crying?" he asked, the concern obvious in his voice.

"Yeah. Sadly I have."

"Why?" Hayes asked.

"Well after I woke up from my coma type thing, Connor said he was my boyfriend then I called him unattractive and he left the room. my memory came back to me last night after watching the video he made for me but I guess he already has another girlfriend. So I cried myself to sleep."

"Awe. That's terrible. Does he known was the amnesia?" Cameron asked.

"According to JC, Connor thinks I was faking my amnesia."

"What a jerk." Nash said.

"Yeah I guess so." I shrugged.

"It will get better and you guys will be back together in no time." Cameron smiled while giving me a quick hug. We got into the car and drove to the beach to film.

~Connor's POV~

I woke up with a big headache. I don't remember much from last night but I do remember Jaycee crying. I got out of bed and hopped in the shower. The warm water made me want to cry. I missed Jaycee and I had screwed everything up by taking her comment seriously. After all, she did have amnesia so who could blame her for what she said.

I got out of the shower and put on a pair of shorts and my favorite shirt. The shirt smelled like Jaycee because she had worn it before we started dating and I never washed it until the other day. But no matter what I did to it, the smell of vanilla, fresh baked sugar cookies and strawberries stayed with this shirt. Then again, I could be so in love with her that her scent is permanently stuck in my nose, making it impossible to enjoy anyone elses scent.

Jaycee was the only girl I wanted and today, I was going to prove to her that she will always be mine no matter what. So I set off to do the one thing I'm best at. Making videos and hoping she loves them so she can be mine forever.
