Chapter 29

I entered the garage and saw Trevor sitting on the hood of my car. He had a note taped him.

"Happy birthday best friend!" he squealed excitedly and hugged me.

"Thanks."

"How are you liking the scavenger hunt?"

"It's making me very tired. Do you have an idea what's going to be at the end?"

"Nope."

"Well it better ne good or else I'm gonna be extremely pissed off at him."

"And we don't want that to happen to you on your birthday."

"Yes exactly."

"Well, here's your next note. Have fun today." he said as he handed me a folded piece of paper and left. I unfolded the paper and read it carefully.

 Hey. You're almost done here. Just a few more steps to go and you get your surprise. Connor says that you're going to really love it.
You're almost at the very end, but this is where your guests come in.

Where do guests come in? Back door, garage door, side door or front door? Well I'm already at the garage door so that's not an answer. We don't have a side door so there goes that answer. And our back door is a place I've already been so my next clue must be at the front door.

I ran up to the front door but there was nothing so I went outside. Standing in front of me was Kian.

"If you're looking for your note, I don't have the paper."

"What? But my next clue-"

"Yes I know. And you know that I easily lose paper when it's given to me so I saved it to my phone."

"Oh okay. Send me it in a text. I gotta go."

"Okay." he called after me as I ran away. I stopped when my phone vibrated. Pulling it out, I saw that it was just from Kian.

[KiKiLawl:Your clue is as follows.......I'm a bird but I can't fly. You'll find me at the zoo. I'm also a very adorable creature when I'm a baby.]

[Me: Thanks Kiki. Do you know what the surprise is?]

[KikiLawl: nope. Can't say I do. Sorry. :/]

[Me: Oh. That's okay. Thanks anyway.] I texted back before I closed my phone. I headed to the zoo and thought about what animal it could be.

"It has to be the penguin exhibit. My final clue has to be there. It will lead me to the last location and I'll finally get my surprise." I thought to myself as I reached the zoo and headed for the penguins which were located at the back.
