"Maylee. Get up!" Johnny shined a flashlight in my eyes.
"Johnny!" I swatted at him and he just laughed. He always did these rediculous things to get me up for school. One time, when I was about 8 or 9, he dumped a huge bown of ice on my back!
"c'mon! We're gonna be late again for the 3rd time this week! Now get up, get dressed," He threw my sundress at me, " and lets go."

"Hey, can you slow down a little please? You're supposed to be going 35, not 55, genius"
"Oh, and when did you become the driving expert?" He is one sarcastic son-of-a-gun. Time for a come-back.
"Ever since you got drunk at that bonfire last summer." He took his eyes off of the road, looked at me. and smiled. I smiled back.
"Johnny, you have to watch the road." He rolled his eyes and pinched my cheeks. I hate when he does that.
"Maylee?" Johnny said as i got out of the car.
"Yea?" He looked serious.
"Don't let anything get to you. Know that God is with you and will protect you. Always. I love ya."
"Love ya too, johnny." Then he drove off to go find a parking spot. I turned to face the school. "Here we go again.." I walked up the steps and went to my 1st hour.

"Jane Elderline?" Mrs.Windcline called.
"Here."
"Maylee Rokeman?"
"Here..." I say walking in just in time, making my way to my seat.
"That's the 3rd time this week miss Rokeman... I'm going to have to give you a detention." Great. Thanks Mrs.Windcline! My dreams have all came true now! Not.
"Okay..." I pull out my diary and start writting. "Dear Diary, as soon as I walked into this class, my luck was gone. Can I ever escape this life?" I put my diary down and half listened to the teacher.
