It might have been a week since then and Erza may or may not have become closer to us. We didn't even need to invite her anymore to come with us for lunch and in the weekend, we went to Levy's house. She was a fast learner at everything and wasn't really good at anything very passionate. That would have explained why she always declined anything to do with the 'freedom of speech' or to do a speech.
Well, right now, I'm just in really baggy clothes and sprawled across the sofa, watching a movie. Not going to say but you lot can imagine it. There was a faint smell of blood near the door and something about sunflowers in the air. My mum rushed downstairs to open the door to reveal the Vampire.
"Mum, what in the hell is he doing here?" I asked as he walked in a flipped his blue hair. I rolled my eyes as he walked into the kitchen to wipe off the blood from his face.
"Don't be so rude! Jellal has to stay with us now because the police caught him in Portsmouth, he said he lived with us because his family died, now, he lives with us." My mum said.
"Wait, when did this development happen?" I asked her. Jellal walked back into the living room and stayed a little quiet. At times, he mya be annoying and sassy but at others, a cute little bunny. Right now, he was the latter.
"A few days ago, the police had to drive him back here after they phone us a few hours ago. He will be staying in our guest room and going to your school," Mum said.
"Will he be in my form?" I asked in disgust as he got out a phial or blood. He must have got it in his trips from the dealer or something. He took off the lid and chugged the red substance down his throat.
I could smell the iron from here.
"No, he will be in 9B. SO, you have to look after him when you two have the same lessons, and during breaks plus lunch!" Mum clapped before rushing upstairs. I guess she's probably just trying to make sure the guest room was clean for him.
"What did you do for getting arrested? I can't believe they caught you now, they should have done it ages ago." I teased him. He put down the empty phial on the coffee table and wiped off the excess blood from around his mouth and chin. "On your cheek,"
"I got caught sucking the life out of a human, she was bitter, it wasn't worth the trouble of being arrested," Jellal said as he wiped his cheek with his sleeve. "Are there any humans here I can drink or any blood?" He asked me.
"I want you to drink many people, but, no. I think mum will get some blood for you somewhere, fresh or old?" I asked him.
"Fresh, like this!" He said with a grin. Him grinning caused his red tattoo become distorted and he took out a sunflower. "I always smell like one, I should just get one! He said.
"Where did you get it?" I asked him as I took it from him. I stroked the stem of it and wondered at the cells in it would really look under a microscope.
"During the ride back here, I saw it. I broke out and took it, stuffed it in my bag when they took a hold of me again," He said. He seemed a little embarrassed about that. Who wouldn't? Getting the police to hold you by the wrists because you wanted a sunflower so you broke out of their highly secure car. Really, how does he do it?
"Wow, just wow," I slowly clapped as a tease. It wasn't that I disliked him that much like that. It was complicated like my relationship with Natsu. You can barely even tell that Jellal and I aren't very great friends. But, I guess from now on. we are. "At school, I'll do the talking for your back story, don't make up some novel for it,"
"Note taken, is there any cute girls there?"
"Now, if I hear from Erza that you have got yourself in Mr Makarov's office, I will take the pleasure in murdering you personally,"
That was just 20 minutes ago when I left him at his form room. I had taken the long way to my form room to calm my nerves but it didn't help that Natsu tried to talk. Now, I'm in English, nervously watching Jellal trying to read a book.
"Who is in charge of Jellal, again?" The teacher asked the class. Everyone shrugged as Jellal perked up and put down Pride and Prejudice.
"Lucy is! Didn't she tell anyone of you?" The classroom spread with whispers. Then, a realisation hit them that I had. These people are dumb for them to be in the top sets.
"I am but I think Erza is capable of handling him," The teacher took my hint that I might get stressed from him and she moved him next to Erza who in her lonely corner of the seating plan. Erza turned slightly red that he had agreed to sit with her and he began asking for help.
Damn, I forgot he couldn't read.
"I'll read for you," Erza murmured. Wow, she took the liberty to do that? Or...?
"Thank you, Scarlett!"
