"Wait, how can someone be two parts something?" I panicked. Was Juvia okay inside with this body she had been born with? Was Juvia using this to her advantage?
"Do you really want me explaining IT to you right here or do you know how that works?" Jellal asked me. A few heads from other schools turned to face me. One of them being a young teen with blond hair catching my eye.
I turned back to Jellal.
"Is that why Gray is all over her?" I asked. Would that even be a real connection between the two? If Juvia had been pulling the strings all along, would that make Gray numb around her? Would he not be himself around her? It was true, he had been acting differently.
"Yes, I can tell you want to tell me something else..." Jellal said in a tone of annoyance as he gestured me to tell my point. It might not be about Juvia but it was about her kind. Well, maybe a certain person in the hybrids.
"I saw a guy during the Halloween festival, he smelled like a Tiger and Human, would that make him a hybrid? He's at seat G13." I said.
We both turned to look forwards, acting like we would be looking at the curtains or something in the direction of it.
Jellal's eyes scanned the seats in front of us to try and find the Tiger Boy. His eyes stopped as he thought about it.
"Can I try and make him blee--"
"NO!"
"Not like that, I need to smell his blood! On the coach, Juvia cut her hand, she washed it off earlier, I need to smell his," He explained.
"I'll be watching you," I said as I pushed his back to lift him up. I watched as he took a pin out of my hair and walked off to the side. He was heading in the direction of the other half of our class and bumped into the row that Tiger Boy was in.
Jellal tripped over his laces and scowled as he went head first to the red velvet flooring. I winced for his pain, refusing to watch him land. I opened my eyes to see him rubbing his nose. I rolled my eyes, trust me, it wouldn't have hurt.
His nose wasn't even red from the impact.
Right next to him was seat G13.
Jellal lifted up his left hand to sturdy himself against the seat's handle. He got up on his knees, but I wasn't going to focus on him recovering. I watched his left hand travel to the boy's right arm.
The pin first scrapped against his bicep but then Jellal jerked his hand as dusted off his knees with his right hand, still on his knees.
The pin went straight into the boy's arm. He winced in pain a surprise. It was a funny expression but he soon turned pretty annoyed afterwards. He looked down at Jellal, who was retrieving his left hand and getting back up.
"You pricked me." Tiger Boy stated. His voice was pretty hoarse for a young teenager and his face was maturing well. Jellal on the other hand also looked annoyed, so did I.
"You got blood all over my friend's pin," He said. That must have been a silent apology for me and I grinned in approval.
"Touche..." Tiger Boy said. He watched Jellal leave his row and walked over to our teacher. He had asked where the bathroom was. He had it all planned from the beginning, to wash the blood off and take a piss.
Levy hit my left arm continuously as the lights dimmed out. Gajeel grabbed both her hands and laid them on her lap. I leant back and positioned my head to face the ceiling.
A tapestry of a Dragon was there. It was painted black with bright blue swirls engraved into it. A bright light was surrounding it in the centre and humans were behind him, backing him up. On the outline was wolves and many other creatures ready to attack.
From this point of view, I didn't know which side would have been the good side, but during a fight, who is?
Another slap on my arm.
I quickly looked for a sign of the maker.
A inc.
The slap was from my right side. I looked at Jellal who had just arrived back. He looked refreshed and looked like he washed his face in the bathroom. Probably in fustration from not being able to take the blood right before him.
He passed me back the pin and I stabbed it into my hair.
"He's a hybrid."
Sometimes surprises could a good thing. But it all depends on your state of mind and how you think of the situation from beginning to end. Leaving the screening room after hours of watching a sad romance play.
My eyes were somewhat still red and blurred from crying. Tears were still in my eyes, narrowing my sight by tonnes. Even Jellal had cried at the very end, he silently cried which scared the crap out of me when I saw him in the dark.
He can be scary sometimes.
I was at the back of the line of my half of the class. Hands went around my neck and I jerked around. The hands tightened against me from the friction and I began to kick. The people around me must have been pretty stupid if they looked at the scene as if it was cute.
The figure behind me led me silently to an alcove near the exit of the screening room. I was backed up against a wall and the light burned my eyes.
Everything around me was still a blur and the hands wiped away my tears.
"You didn't have to prick me, Wolf Girl."
Don't asked why I was in the mood to add this little bit of mission of for Jellal. I had just rewatched Zera disappear and Future Lucy die. You don't want to see my reaction from when I cried of Aquarius' key being broken.
So I thought a mini mission for Jellal would be a nice thing for him, he might even advance from reading some damn books!
See the foreshadowing?
It couldn't be any clearer!
