The past few months gave me the vibe of a lonely feeling. I sat in the park on the swings with Sting. Ever since the accident, Juvia stuck with us. She might have believed us but she couldn't face Gray after what she had done.

Natsu and I were the same, still can't seem to talk on the same level.

"How is it like having a vampire friend?" Sting asked me. We watched five-year-olds go on the round-about. They broke the park rule where you were meant to keep both feet on the ride but they stuck out their foot to maintain the speed.

"Jellal's really fun. Even if he pretends his blood is some cherry drink at school, he's fun. My mum is trying to give him on this diet to make sure he can stand some full days without blood in case something happens, he never agrees to it." I laughed at the memories.

"I bet it's nice to have a friend like you. What about that other werewolf guy?" He asked me. My lips pressed tighter against each other at the state of my relationship with Natsu was. "I get it, is he mad at me for talking to you?" He asked me.

"Yes, and I don't understand why. He confuses me so much that it actually physically hurts me..." I choked out.

Shoot.

"Do you want to talk or should I talk about something else?" Sting asked me quickly, sensing what I was about to break into. "Are there any other people like us?" He asked quickly, not even waiting for me to answer his previous question.

"Yes, I have another friend like us. Her name is Juvia Lockster and she's part mermaid and part Siren, but she's in a little problem." I told him about what happened. He was quiet throughout all of it. It made sense. They were both somewhat alike by how they were both half something and half something else.

"I want to talk to her...but let's cheer up this conversation! There's this really nice girl in one of my classes, her name is Yukino!" Sting grinned at me. This had surprised me. I can't believe that he had made friends easily with humans while I had trouble most of the time.

"I see!" I looked at him teasingly. His triumph face from before turned into pure shock at what I had implied.

"I do feel like that, I'm not even going to try and deny it. I don't like to deny feeling like this." Sting laughed. "By the way, how old are you? You seem short."

"Gee...thanks...I'm thirteen..."

"Heh, I'm fifteen, year 10, one of the oldest. Well, at least I mingle with a range of people," He ruffled my hair. I let out an ugly pout at strands of my own her fell into awkward places of my face.

"Lucky me, eh?" I laughed at him and fixed my hair. "How do you manage to let out your feeling like that...every time I try, I end up being hated for it..." I mumble. He thought for a moment with a derp face.

"I just say it in a way that won't break anyone else. No one else like Yukino and she hasn't shown any affection to other guys, why should I hold my feelings in?" He asked me.

"Good point. I have a fri--"

"That friend is you, don't start with that." He pointed out. We both ended up laughing. He pushed his right foot and it pulled him into the air by the swing. I watched him lazily as my laughs died out.

"Well, the guy I like keeps giving me mixed signals, I can't do anything like that if he isn't straight forward," I told him. He laughed at me.

"I thought you didn't follow what others do Lucy!" Sting laughed out. His blond hair got stuck in his mouth and he spat it out. "Why do you have to wait for him to make the 'first move'" He exaggerated his words. The kids left the round-about and went to the slide to play tickle monster under it.

"Don't I have to? I want to but what if he's still mad at me..." I murmured.

He skidded his feet against the tar on the ground to slow himself down. The squeak of the chains slowing down by his command filled out own silence. The bright rays of sun complimented his honey coloured hair and his bright smile.

"Why else would he be mad if he isn't jealous because of you?"
