Chapter 5 - Hospital part 2

I walked into the ward and found out i was in bed A. I quickly had a little wander around to see if anything interesting was around, I wasn't in luck. I didn't like being away from Keira, she was the only person I knew who was trying to keep me happy.

I walked back to my ward. As soon as I walked through the door my belly filled with butterflies...

I don't know what came over me.

The boy from the waiting room rushed to me.

"Hi, are you the girl from the waiting room?!" He said it very enthusiastic

"Yeah, hi" I reached out to shake his hand.

A smile stayed on his face as I walked over to my bed and started to unpack.

We didn't speak for a while i just assumed he was busy doing the same as me? Unpacking.

A few hours later he came over to my bed and sat next to me.

"Hey...erm, sorry for acting all weird before... I was just nervous you see I'm new hear and know nobody.."

" don't worry its fine, hello anyway my names Maddison."

" I'm Nathan Winters, I'm fourteen."

" wow same!"

"Really!"

We had a nice chat and tried to get to know each other more.

He was very open about himself, he told me a lot of things about him, things i didn't expect him to tell me.

He explained why he was here and it scared me.

He began about his bullying.

Bullying to the point he couldn't go on much longer.

He pulled through it but brought something with if...

A blade...

I was shocked.

I hated being in pain, id never cause it to myself...

He began to show me his arms...

Tears started to flood from his poor eyes.

I gave him a big hug as i began to cry.

We carried on hugging for a long time which seemed quick.

I cared about him so quickly.

Nobody has cried about something so personal to me...

It killed me to see him like this...
