CHAPTER 14

February 3, 2014

BEEP! BEEP! BEEE...

I turned off my alarm. My head was aching. "School today," I mumble to myself. I only got two hours of sleep from all the running I have been doing. 'Well at lest I get to see Aislynn today.' I started the normal routine. Every school day was like that. Once I got done with brushing my teeth, I sat on the floor in front of the front door. I started to listen to the neighbors fight. "Can they get anymore annoying?!" I screamed while holding my vary sensitive ears. I looked at my new phone that I got for Christmas a while back. 'Ugh, I still have ten more minutes!' As time went so slowly, I saw the bus. I ran to it, but the bus just left without me?! I let out my wolf form and started to run to school. 'Apparently they don't aspect my kind to ride the bus,' I wanted to kill something right then and there.

After a five minute run, I beat the bus and everyone else. I went to one of the trees and sat down. I waited for one of my friends to come. Some time passed before I saw Cheyenne get to the school lot. I ran up to her, still in wolf form. She gave a smirk, "Hi ya, Jasmine. What are doing here before any of the buses come?" I turned into my human state so we can talk better.

"Apparently, humans decided I wasn't worthy for a seat on the bus! Oh well, I don't want to sit near a bunch of humans that don't expected what I am," I said in a stern voice. It did hurt that they just left me out in the snow though.

"Hmmm, are you sure it isn't there smell that you don't have to sit near," she spoke while holding her nose and moving her hand back and forth like if something was stinky. We both started to laugh out our guts at what she said.

"That too!" We talked until Aislynn's bus came by. I saw her come out of the bus. She slowly walked towards us. "Hi ya, Aislynn," I spoke in a joyful, perky voice.

"Hi Jazzy," I couldn't tell what kind of mood she is in. It seemed down, but a bit happy. I was just happy that we were actually talking together, sense the tense fight.

"So, how was the rest of your weekend?" I asked trying not to be a burden.

"It was fine, nothing really happened. I just babysat my little cousin on Sunday. That's it really."

"Oh, ok!" I thought about my crazy weekend. I decided not to tell what I found out this weekend unless someone asked me. "Well we are back to jail." I tried to add some humor to the awkward conversation. It worked. I saw everyone started to walk into the school. The stupid day has started. The first five hours were absolutely boring. I was happy during fourth, but still board. It didn't help that I had advance classes and no friends in them.

Once sixth hour came along, my mood jumped a bit. I got to be near my friends and it was the last hour I had to suffer through. When I arrived the desks where moved again. I have no clue where to sit. Mrs. Bailey did this sort of stuff all the time.

"Alright class, you have new seats!" She started giving seats. She put all of the pack in the back away from the others. It's been like that in the other classes of mine. Oh well, at lest I was near my pack. When we started reading the book we are reading. After half way through the chapter my side started to hurt really badly. 'Maybe it's just my silly mind playing stupid tricks.' The reason why I thought that was because the book's character, a boy, just got stabbed just a little above the stomach. But my pain was a growing one. I wanted to cry from the pain, but I didn't need that kind of reputation. After the 3 o'clock bell rang, I dashed out of the room to my locker. I got all my stuff packed and dashed to Aislynn's locker. She was almost done packing.

"Hi ya, Aislynn! So what are you up to this afternoon?" I questioned her.

"Nothing much, why?" She responded.

"I don't know, just thought maybe we could hangout. Nothing really..."

"Oh Kameron said we have a pack meeting tonight!"

"Oh ok, I will be there! I'm home alone anyways." After I walk with her to her bus, witch wasn't that far because it was the first one, I ran back home. It was faster and less stressful. I got home and did my chores and left to pack territory. The snow and ice was mocking me. I didn't like the cold, like at all!

The meeting took forever! Just talking about 'how the pack needs more people' and that 'we should stop showing our forms to anyone we see'. After wasting three hours of my life! When I arrived home, I went right into bed. Tuesday was the exact same as yesterday, and Wednesday was a longer meetings because we had a snow day. Thursday was so posed to be our valentine dance, but we miss it because of another snow day, and so was Friday. When Saturday came around, I was exhausted! I spent Saturday and Sunday sleeping the pain away from the week.
