"Anna, time to wake up!" Mom, Dad, Sylvia, Jason, and Mackenzie yelled at the same time. Living with large, obnoxious 6 family member house is dreadful! I sluggishly walk out of my shared bedroom with pretty and perfect Mackenzie and know-it-all Sylvia. "No fair Jason has his own bedroom, bathroom, and bed. Boys get everything (not true irl)!" I thought. I tiredly brush my teeth, shower, comb my hair, and put on crumbs of makeup that I stole from Mackenzie, which she stole from her friend. I walk across the house to the kitchen, where everybody sat, eating peacefully, as if they hadn't yelled to wake me up 15 minutes ago. "What is it that you guys want me here so bad?" I said. "Since today is your first day being 16 —" Mom said. "Ugh 🙄🙄!" I interrupt. "As I was saying, you got a important message from the Queen Selection company!" Everyone clapped and rejoiced as I just stood there. "You guys don't care that if I win the competition, I'm going to marry a prince that I don't even know?" As I said that, I started to think about Aspen and our "relationship".
During breakfast, I couldn't help but look at the beautiful necklace Aspen gave me as a birthday gift. I loved it and him. But I knew that feeling would end, now that I'm going to be in the Queen Selection Competition.
After eating "breakfast", I listed my talents, character traits, and name/signature. I quickly went outside to see Aspen. "What's up, Anna?" he said, approaching me. "Nothing much!" I said, as I hugged him. His smell, muscles, comfort, made me crave more of him. I missed him, and he missed me. We walked to the end, where was in front of us was a tree. We both sat down, me resting my head on his chest. He planted a kiss on my forehead and smiled. "I love you, Anna. I love you so much I brought you a treat." Inside were chocolate-covered strawberries, grapes, crepes, and a awfully beautiful sandwich that could keep me full for days. "Aww, Aspen! You didn't have to do this. Thank you!" I said, hugging him. "No problem! No matter what you do or say, I'll always love you, Anna Marie London." He laid on top of me, softly, and resting his smooth lips on mine.
