My heart falters at her words. You did once. I had the chance to love her, I didn't take it.
"I'm sorry Shadow. Please take mine and my father's lives. We don't deserve them, especially me. I loved you and I never once told you and when I did, I was too late. I never deserved you. You are what I've been looking for but you don't need me. I will never be would you loved. I understand if you don't love me anymore, just please. End it now," my heart pounds at my words. I still love her. I close my eyes waiting for the shot that would never come. The arrow whizzes past my own head. A scream sounds. I turn. My father is clutching an arrow shaft buried in his chest. She did it. Something I could never do. Kill my father. I watch as his eyes roll into his head and he falls to the ground. I turn back to look at Shadow, but nothing is there. Nothing but a single note.
P.S- I still love you, Pretty Boy. ~Shadow Alister. It was the last time I saw the love of my life.
