                                           Veronica Jenesis

"Where have you been." I hear a voice immediately as I turn on my new bedroom lights. I look over to my annoying brother, "Stop worrying about me, I will never be as bad as you." I mumble. He looks at me with a frown, but quickly becomes pokerface. "I'm sorry Jo, it's just some people here are already on my edge and I'm letting my heat on you." He looks at me and nods slowly, knowing how I hate explaining things that ruin my day. "Hey Vero I know it seems as if I don't care, but truly you are the only person who never gives up on me." It's moments like these were I realize how good my brother is. I quickly brush my teeth and my face, and put on my pajamas. I walk over to my new bed and see my brother half asleep. I lay down next to him, snuggling my face into his chest. "I will never give up on you." I whisper and soonly I fall asleep.

Monday 5:45

I wake up to my alarm clock. Of course the perfect sound to a soon to be perfect day. I decide to not be negative and just make the best of the day.

I walk into my newly renovated closet and pick my favorite pair of black boyfriend jeans, a nude bralet, and a white v-neck. I decide to quickly straighten my medium-sized dark hair. I then put on my favorite rings and necklaces, apply mascara and lipbalm, and then I put on my white nikes.

By the time I finish it is 6:30 and I wake up my brother that lately won't sleep in his own room and I go to his room only to find his stuff half unpacked and grab a nice shirt, some khaki pants and some stylish shoes I bought him for his 18th birthday. I walk back in my room only to find him laying on the floor, "Want to do this the hard way.." I whisper. I grab his shirt and fling it at his head making sure to hit him harder until he actually is in a stage of reaction.

"Stop Vero." He mumbles, I laugh like always and jump on him. "Get up lazy cow!" I scream-whisper in his ear. "I hate you." He finally pushes me off only taking 7 minutes to get ready.

As I walk into the Jeep, I find a note on the wind shield. I look around quickly and making sure no one is around I open it.

Not a stalker but I was coming home and remembered you were the girl from Saturday. Sorry about us, we were half drunk.

I looked around once more and shoved into my bag. These people are creeps, I laugh. I hear the door unlock and I jump in. The ride to school was a good 5 minutes and we even came earlier to get our schedule. The school was set up differently then I was used to. There was 4 main buildings each being 2 floors and in the middle there was an open hangout area. Me and my brother looked at each other and smiled. None of us showed how nervous we actually got with these type of things. And like always we were always together to start and together to leave.

Once we got our schedules we went our seperate ways and I knew by the look on my brothers face he hoped he could control himself this time.

--------

I must have walked for what seemed forever, because of my confusion with the buildings. I bumped into people and they gave me dirty looks. I quickly apologized for anyone who was the next accidental victim of my clumsiness.  I was almost into class when the worst of my victims was bumped into by me. I immediately fell getting a few looks and my backpack straps broke off. Not one, but two! "Christ." I mumbled trying to control the amount of cussing I do.

I look up to see the eyes that I saw two days ago. This time I saw them more clearly and they wern't a dark brown color but a color I couldn't describe. I looked at him and everything about him screamed, "Sexy angel, where have you been all of my life!". It felt like hours of what seemed to be the stare battle, but was soonly cut off by the bell. I jumped, hoping he would help me up, but he slowly walked off. "Okay then b" I mumbled.
