Chapter 10

"Um.."

"I think this food gave me a really bad stomach ache." Grayson easily lies. I look over to him and he signals for me to follow along.

"Yeah, I needed a long bathroom break." I laugh nervously.

Jonahs nodes and Grayson goes to pay the bill.

"Don't fucking lie to me, you are such a bad liar." Jonahs quietly says.

I look at him and roll my eyes. "You don't have to know everything, like you don't tell me anything."

"If I found out that Grayson out of all guys took your virginity, you know how mad I will get." He fumes.

"What, you're gonna ruin this place for us, just like you ruined the last? News flash, you can't just threaten people and hope for them to do what you say." I get up from the booth and walk out the door.

I always try my best to contain my anger when it comes to Jonahs, knowing how sensitive he gets when I get mad at him, but hell how can I not get mad?

I hear the footsteps behind me as I wait for the Jeep to be unlocked. Once it's unlocked I grab my school bag and decide to walk to school. The diner isn't too far from my school, so I don't see why not.

Like everything in this town, it's close enough to walk.

"Get in the car!" I hear Jonahs yell.

I laugh and continue to walk, don't threaten me and expect me to be okay with you.

"Please, Vero." Oh that won't work with me.

"I accept, you and Grayson can date or shit, but if I find out he hurts you I'll beat the shit out of him." Jonahs screams, enough for me and Grayson to hear.

I quickly turn my head so fast around, I'm suprised I didn't break my neck.

I look at my brother in suprise and crack a smile.

Grayson looks at both of us in a confused manner.

"Now please come back." Jonahs quickly jumps into his Jeep and rests his head on the steering wheel.

It has been 2 days since the diner and it was a friday before winter break. I know it sounds crazy, but keep up dude!

I was happy to escape school for a little and my plans consisted of finding a job, studying, and painting.

Of course I had to fit in some time for my two bestfriends, Abigail and Ethan. Grayson and I haven't talked since my brother said it was okay for us to date. And I was growing tired of trying to catch his attention in the hallways, so I stopped.

I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss, and it kind of felt like he did it on purpose. Kissed me and confessed his feelings for me to just ingore me. Ignorant him for thinking that I will easily fall back into his stupid words. And ingorant me for falling in LIKE with a douche.

As I lay in my bed and continue thinking about stupid things, I decide that I should probably start getting ready for school.

Should I wear something cute, after all my grades are amazing for the semester. To keep you updated with what happened with my project with Ethan a couple weeks ago, we both got a hundred percent. 25 points for liability, 25 for creation, 25 for organization and 25 for presentation.

I decided I want to wear a dress, and curl my hair. (Image above)
Coming from Florida the weather was quite colder, but I loved the cold. (Cause I'm a cold bit*... just playing)
