Veronica Jenesis
'Beep, Beep!' My eyes open and I bring my hand to my lips, because it still tingled. I still felt his touch on my face and my thighs and I couldn't help but groan.
I knew that one; it was only wesenday and still had 2 days to get through. Two; I would have to look at Ethan and would think about Grayson. I hated it, why do they have to look alike. And I hated the fact that it has only been less then a week and I already kissed someone.
I got up realizing that my alarm clock was set at 5:00 am instead of 5:45 am. I decide that I should run and try to get this disgusting tingly feeling out of me.
I put on my sweats, a long sleeved shirt, my tennishoes, put my hair up and brushed my teeth. I quickly grabbed my phone and jogged downstairs to drink some water, before heading outside. I got outside and it was still dark, with daylight savings time being here it should brighten up in like an hour, but I liked the darkness.
I enjoyed how everything was asleep and I could hear the crickets. I begun to play music, making sure to keep it upbeat to actually run to the rhythm.
I ran for what felt like only 10 minutes when I stumbled across the Dolans neighborhood. I begun to feel the tingles again and I quickly turned around. I will not catch feelings for a rude boy.
I continued running, when I felt memories come back. I felt a whisp of cold air remembering everything in my past. The past always came back to me, no matter how hard I tried to forget it, it was hard. I mean when you forgive someone, it doesn't mean you forget the things they did to you. Especially if you are constantly reminded of it because you have to look at the person who did it to you.
Forgiveness was more than just letting the person back in, but it was also treating them as if everything was the same.

When I got home I quickly took a shower and decided to wear my mustard color long sleeved body suit with high waited white jeans and my white vans. I threw my wet hair into a slick bun and put on my gold hoop earings.
By the time I had finished, it was 6:45 and I bulged into my brothers room to wake him up.
"Rise and shine honey!" I turned on the light and jump on the bed.
"Fucking Veronica." He mumbled and got up. I sat on the edge of his bed as he lazily changed into a mismatched outfit. I walked out of his room and decided to wake up my mom for work.
I hadn't seen her in a while and shockingly she hasn't screamed at Jonahs.
"Mami." I quickly shake her large figure and she smiles as she wakes up. "Im up baby, do good in school." Her voice sounding raspy and I loved how she always reminded me what my focus should be on.

"Your face looks healed." Ethan smiled as I wrote down my bellringer. It was funny how in this class, you could notice that seniors really didn't care as much as the juniors.
"Don't slack off just because I'm sitting next to you." Looking away from my notes to hit his arm.
"I'm not, he doesn't check bellwork." He shrugs and leans over so that he could lay his head down. I looked at my bellringer and sighed. I usually clasped on to things easily, but with any type of science I just couldn't.
"Hey did my brother say anything to you yesterday, you seemed upset when I dropped you off?" Ethan looked at me with concern. Well other then hitting me with a book, kissing me and then getting mad at me, no. "Stop worrying about your brother, why are you and him like that?"
"Me and him are too different now a days. He doesn't care and I do. His been a pain in the ass, every since our dad left. People leave, get on with life." Ethans face seem to soften when he said that his dad left and I couldn't help but feel bad.
I wanted to say that I know his pain, but keeping quiet felt more appropriate.
I decided to bring his attention back on Grayson like mine had been since yesterday. "Is that why you don't hang out with his group?"
His face snapped back to his old self. "Yeah and plus all that group does is fuck each other. Nate does it with 3/5 girls, Aaron does it with the same 3, Grayson is like a sex machine getting with any girl he lies his eyes on." I shake my head in disgust and it only makes me wonder if I have STD's now. (STD's are very serious on a quick note*)

Abigail and I quickly entered the cafeteria to be one of the first ones to get food. I didn't like school lunch, but I wasn't picky. "He did not kiss you." She laughed. I looked at her and rolled my eyes, "It's not funny, I will not be one of those girls he hooks up with. My virginity is too valuable for that."
We sat down and we ate quietly. "Veronica I was wondering if you would like to go shopping, I could show you around town." I look over to Abigail and nod. "Sure thing, I need to get a new backpack" I look down at my 9th grade bag that I didn't throw out when were moving. I was currently using that, because the first day of school I had bumped into Grayson and it had broken
I hear an unfamiliar voice from behind me and I turn around. I see Nate walking towards me and he sits down as if he belonged here. Abigail and I look at him with a puzzled look.
"I would've thought you would have said hi, concluding to the fact that I was right over there." He points at his table and I look over to see Grayson staring at me. I also see everyone else looking my way minus my brother who was on his phone.
I turn back around and look at him. "What made you think that?"
"I wrote you a nice note." He smiles, a goofy grin. "I thought it was an apology and a 'I'll never talk to you again' thing." I emphasize. He laughs and leans closer to me. "Does it look like I never want to talk to you again?" He questions, touching my hands. I quickly pull back and uncomfortably laugh. "Well you do, but I don't." I shrug and look at Abigail who is just observing him.
"Don't play hard to get." He leans back and smirks. I nod my head in disgust if he really thinks this is flirting, it kind of sucks. "I am not playing to get at all." And with that the bell rings and Abigail and I walk off as he just sits there dumbfoundly.
