Natalie's P.O.V.

"Hey I'm at the rink, and uh...you aren't here. Just please pick up your phone and...call me back Cade. Thanks okay bye," I said to Cade's voicemail.

"Waiting on someone or can I help you?" asked a boy with brown hair and brown eyes.

"Uhm-" I stuttered. "Half and half?" I said with a small smile. "I don't really know 'cuz he's not picking up and we were supposed to meet here like an hour ago but now he's not here and I don't know if his crazy psycho ex tried to like kidnap him or rape him or something and I don't know here he lives and-" I cut myself off. "I'm rambling to a hot stranger,"

"Eh, don't worry," he said, "it happens all the time," I smiled as he cracked up laughing. "I'm just teasing, I've only ever heard of that in cliché romance movies or books,"

"Oh," I said, "a boy watches romance movies?" I gasped. "I've never met a boy that's a closet romantic,"

The boy rolled his eyes. "Psht, I just happen to see stuff when my sister has the TV on while I'm in the room,"

I laughed,"My name's Natalie by the way, what's yours?"

"Closet romantic," teased the cutie. "Nahh, it's actually Noah," he extended his hand and I reached forward and shook it.

"Nice to meet you Noah," I said, "Could you get me a pair of size 7 skates please?" I asked, placing my punch card in front of him.

"Sure," Noah said, pulling a star hole punch out from a cubby underneath and punching a star into the card.

"So. . ." I started talking to Noah and was interrupted before I could ask my question.

"Sorry, I'm late," said a voice behind me.

Jess's P.O.V.

"Don't worry, I hear the Johnson's don't care what the children of the business partners look like," said Casey, my older sister. I looked in the mirror and reached for the mascara.

"Don't make it clumpy," said Casey, reaching for the red lipstick.

"Don't make it look trampy," I joked to Casey. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Casey roll her green eyes and apply her lipstick as she blinked her eyes to un clump her mascara on her already thick eyelashes.

"Do I look trampy to you?" asked Casey.

"No way. You look like the beautiful Alan Winters' eldest daughter," I complimented my older sister, doing something that I rarely ever did.

"Really?" asked Casey. "Thanks Jess, it means a lot,"

I smiled and applied my lipstick, twisting the 'Humble 01' tube and applying it on my lips.

"Look fine to you?" I asked Casey.

"Perf," said Casey, using her pinky to get some edge off my mouth.

Crackle crackle.

"G-girls?" Our father's voice came through the intercom that had been recently installed in the house. "Please come downstairs before our guests get here," The crackle came again and then our dad's voice. "Is this on? Can you hear me?"

"Yup, we can hear you, but take your hand off the button so we can speak back," said Casey in a bored and sarcastic tone.

"Girls-" Our dad tried us again as Casey reached for our Vera Bradley purses.

"Alan, I think the girls have heard you by now, take your hand off of the button so that they can reply hun," said our mom.

I turned to Casey, who was mouthing those exact words again because last night our mom had said the same thing to our dad. Casey handed me the purse I was going to carry and my cell phone.

"We're coming," I said into the intercom. Casey and I exited the makeup room and walked to the elevator to go downstairs. I held my heels in one hand and the stuffed purse in the other. Casey pressed one and the elevator started moving down from the fourth floor.

"Third floor," spoke the elevators automated voice.

Casey tapped her freshly painted nails against the solid silver hand bar. I opened up Instagram and took a selfie of myself in my dress, while carrying my heels in the side.

"Second floor," said the automated voice in a monotone style.

I posted the picture and reached for my compact mirror to touch up on my rhinestones near my eyes. Casey took her own selfie and posted it on Instagram before re-fixing her hair into a pouf style.

The doors to the elevator opened and a maid stepped in and pressed Basement.

"First floor," said the voice. The doors opened and Casey stepped out before me as I waved to the maid before leaving and watching the mahogany doors shut.

"Girls, I'd like you to meet Jamie and Derek Johnson and their two daughters, Elle and Brynn,"
