I have planned out this book. I think. . . :) There will be 5 more chapters packed chock-full of DRAMA!!

On the volleyball team thing, I've changed my mind about that. I want to get to the part of the story with Homecoming so just imagine that the volleyball was a side plot never mentioned.

Natalie's P.O.V.

Ring ring.

"Hello?" I asked, picking up my phone without checking caller ID.

"Hey Natalie, it's Cade," Cade's amazing voice filled my ears.

"Oh hi!" I exclaimed, dropping my pen on the table.

"Listen, I have something to tell you," said Cade, "can we possibly meet at the lake near my house?"

I nervously replied, "Uhm, sure,"

I threw my paper and pen in my bag and grabbed my car keys from the counter before driving to Cade's house.

"Hi again," said Cade, coming out from behind a rock near the lake.

"Hey," I said with a tight-lipped smile.

"So I might as well explain why we're here. You must remember that before I got amnesia I applied to be one of the main characters in a game show called the Boyfriend Ball, which is a dating show and as well as a humour show," said Cade in one breath of air.

I nodded, "Yeah, I know that,"

"Well, I got accepted," Cade finished.

"Congrats! That show seems really great! I might even audition someday!" I said genuinely.

"There's only one problem," said Cade, "today's my last day here!" Cade looked like he was about to cry.

"Then let's make the best of it!" I exclaimed, grabbing his hand like a little kid and running into the water. As soon as the lake's coldness hit my bare skin, I instantly regretted it. The lake was so freaking cold!

"Eh my gawd!" I exclaimed, my instant response to jump out and go to the shore side but Cade pulled me back and even under the chilly water.

"Use my body heat to keep yourself warm," said Cade with a wink. I rolled my eyes and then Cade became serious.

"I brought a picnic lunch and I thought maybe we could just relax before I leave?" questioned Cade.

I nodded, "Yeah, I'd like that," I said. Cade got out of the water soaking wet and whipped his head from side to side and sprayed me with even more water. I watched as he made his way towards his parked car and got out the food.

Jess's P.O.V.

"Hey!" I exclaimed, sliding into a chair across from Elle at our local Starbucks. Elle looked up from her phone and her smile brightened as she saw me.

"Hey girl!" she said, putting her phone in her pocket and waving down the waiter.

"Good morning ladies, what can I get for you to drink?" he asked, pulling out his notepad and pen.

"I'll have a vanilla bean frappe with one shot of decaf coffee," I ordered as Elle scanned the small Daily Deals menu.

Elle looked up from the menu and looked at the waiter, "I'll have one paradise iced tea please, extra berries," ordered Elle.

"Great!" exclaimed the waiter, "anything to munch on?" he asked.

I glanced at Elle, who seemed to be squirming uncomfortably. "Uhm, just a slice of coffee cake and two chocolate cake pops please," I said, watching him scribble it down and scurry away.

"What's wrong?" I asked. "I can tell something's up Elle," I said threateningly.

"It's about Brynn," said Elle. My face must've turned a bit too disgusted like because Elle gave me a disapproving look. "She's not incredibly bad, she's just had a screwed up childhood and her way of letting it out is much different than mine,"

"OK, go ahead and tell me what's up," I said, watching as the waiter set our drinks in front of us and promised to be out with the desserts.

"I saw Brynn writing a secret admirer note to someone," started Elle as she took a sip of her tea. "And you'll never guess who it was to," I spit a small amount of my drink back into my cup with surprise.

"Who?" I asked.

"It was to Natalie," said Elle, her expression saddening.

"You mean Nat Russell?" I asked, referring to the six foot jock.

"No," said Elle, her voice cracking, "Natalie Rose Portman, your best friend. After talking to Brynn about it, it seems as if she has a crush on Natalie and is bi sexual,"

"You aren't kidding are you?" I asked to be sure.

Elle let a tear roll down her cheek, "I wish I was," she said.

The girl who said she hated me had a crush on my best friend.

Whoa.

Jolene's P.O.V.

"Attention everyone!" said a stu-co member over the intercom. "Homecoming tickets will be available through the end of the day, please purchase them soon,"

I rolled my eyes and fingered the two tickets in my pocket.

"Let's do this!" I said to Hannah. We ran out to the parking lot and spotted Natalie's car.

"Ready? Aim! Fire!" exclaimed the queen bee.

Smash!

Extra long chapter to make up for the last few. As said in the earlier authors note, I have the rest of the story completely planned and the Boyfriend Ball will start immediately after.
