**REGULAR SUNDAY UPDATE!**

Natalie's P.O.V.
"Long time no see," called a familiar voice behind me as I walked up to the check-out lane in Target. I turned around to see Noah, the boy from the roller rink behind me.
"Hey!" I exclaimed, jumping out of the line to let the mom behind me go ahead. "You're right! Long time!" I said.
"We have to catch up," said Noah in a girly voice. I laughed.
"How about we go to Pelican's Landing around noon and chat then? I just have to get some stuff done," I said. Noah nodded in agreement. "Great!" I said, "see you there!"
"Bye," said Noah.
I got back in line after my short conversation with Noah.
"Mommy, why did that girl get out of line to talk to that boy?" I heard a young girl's voice ask.
"That's probably her boyfriend," said her mom. I turned around.
"Oh, he's not my boyfriend," I said. The woman nodded as if she believed me and threw in a wink as I stepped up to the register.
"Hello, welcome to Target." greeted the salesman, "did you find everything you needed?" he asked.
"Yup," I said as he rang up my groceries. As he finished, I looked at my total and pulled out my credit card.
"Your total is $53.65," he said. I handed him my card and he swiped it. "Please sign here," he instructed, handing me a pen. I signed my signature with a flourish and handed him back the paper. "Thank you!" he said cheerily. I grabbed my bags and walked out of Target.

Ring ring.
"Heller?" I said into my phone without checking caller ID.
"Natalie? It's Jess, we need to talk about something really important," said Jess in a concerned voice.
"What is it? You OK?" I asked in an anxious rush.
"Wha. . .?" Jess questioned. "Oh yeah, I'm fine, but your friend Brynn isn't,"
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"You know how Brynn was mean to you and everything was like crazy?" Jess asked.
"Mmhmm," I said.
"Brynn actually is bi-sexual and has a crush on you," said Jess in one big breath of air. I closed my eyes. I knew something was up!
"T-thanks for telling me," I stuttered.
"You OK?" Jess asked with concern.
"Uh yeah," I said. "I think. . ." I muttered.
"Bye," I said in a rush. I pressed END CALL and pushed my phone into my pocket. Holy toledo. . .

"Hey Brynn?" I asked to a brightly dressed figure at the mall.
"Uh hi Natalie? I know you've heard," Brynn sounded sad. Her face looked pale and she was carrying a Forever 21 bag. I put my lips in a thin line and nodded.
"I'm sorry for everything." said Brynn.
"It's okay Brynn, but I don't like you like that, I'm sorry!" I said.
"I know you don't," said Brynn with a small smile. To make Brynn in a better mood, I suggested something:
"Do you want to go prom dress shopping with me?"

Maybe I'll extend this a little longer than expected. . .
Just maybe.
