Mackenzie and I had come across a trail in the forest, which we had decided to follow. For the first few minutes or so, we were silent. Then I took a look at Mackenzie, and she seemed like she wanted to have a conversation. So I decided to say, "I wonder where this trail leads."

"That is a mystery we have yet to solve, Jack," Mackenzie chuckled.

"Maybe it'll lead straight to the orb. We have no ways of knowing," I laughed, then stopped laughing when we came across the entrance to...

An amusement park. Inside, I saw the typical carnival rides, such as roller coasters, ferris wheels, and all that cool stuff. I also saw the food stands they had back on Earth. Above us, a sign said, "Welcome to Yleakville National Park!"

"Wow. This place really has everything," Mackenzie said, nodding her head in approval.

"Do you imagine they have any rides that no other place on Earth has?" I asked.

Mackenzie shrugged. "I dunno. There's only one way to find out. You down?"

"I'm down."

So the two of us took a look around the place, until eventually, we came across a ride that looked interesting. There were a series of carriages that could host up to two people each, and they flew in two different directions- horizontally and vertically. We waited in line to get on the ride, and luckily for us, we were the last ones in the line able to go on. They strapped us in, and a few minutes later, the ride started.

It was fun. Not much else to say.

After we got off of the ride, Mackenzie took note of a hole in the ground, right next to some sort of ferris wheel. It looked like someone had dug the hole up, and it seemed to lead to an underground tunnel. What interested Mackenzie and I was that we could see a faint glow coming from within the tunnel.

So we both walked over to the hole and stood above it. We looked down into it, and then at each other. Mackenzie asked me, "Do you want to investigate?"

I stepped aside, and replied, "Ladies first."

Mackenzie eyed me weirdly, then took slow, steady steps into the tunnel. I followed her, keeping quiet to make sure we couldn't be heard.

The tunnel was dark, but since outside was pure daylight, Jack and I were able to see quite well. For a while, anyways. A few minutes into our search, it became so dark I had to dig a flashlight out of my bag and use it to see.

Anyways, back to the search. We kept walking until eventually, we came across a large room. There were no other tunnels, so we assumed it was a dead end. In the middle of the room was a pedestal, and on it was a glass container. Inside the glass container was...

A shiny orb.

"Well, would you look at that," Jack chuckled. He looked at me with an eyebrow raised, as if he expected me to go get it.

"What's wrong with you getting it?" I asked him.

"You're probably more likely to escape if someone catches you."

Sighing, I tip-toed up to the glass container, lifted it, and grabbed the orb from it. I stood for a second, just to make sure no traps had activated. Nothing.

"Phew. That was easy," I smirked as I walked back to Jack. Unfortunately, the very last step I took landed on a small button in the floor.

"God damn it," I muttered.

"What did you do?" Jack moaned.

"Knowing the circumstances, I probably just set off a booby trap," I muttered in agony. "Let's move, Jack."

"I'm one step ahead of you!" he yelled, as he had already begun running to the entrance. "Jack, you son of a bitch!" I screamed as I followed him. We ran through the tunnels we had just previously travelled, and only a few seconds in, a wall came from behind and advanced for us.

"Jack! Move it!" I urged. I picked up the pace, as did he, but we weren't fast enough for the wall. It eventually caught up to us, and we had no other choice but to let it push us towards our doom. Right before a corner, however, the wall just stopped in place.

"Huh?" Jack asked, confused.

"Guess they ran out of money," I shrugged. We continued further, and eventually, holes opened up in the walls and dart cannons began firing at us.

"Get down!" I hissed. Jack and I both got down to our bellies and began crawling the distance. A dart landed on Jack, and he picked it up and examined it. "Huh. These darts are cubed."

"And foam?" I questioned as I picked one up myself. "The foam part is probably reasonable, but why cubed... oh that's right, pointed darts are trademarked."

"Huh?"

"Stuff I learned in illuminati training. Now let's get out of here."

We were only a few feet away from the entrance at that point, so we quickly made our way there and climbed out of the tunnel. Then we stared at the orb for a few seconds. Finally, Jack asked, "Well, now what do we do?"

"Keep looking. As far as we're concerned, there's still four more orbs missing."

"Should we try and find the others now?"

I shrugged. "Whichever we find first we'll go with. Now come on, Jack. We don't have all day."

"Alright, alright," Jack sighed as we left the amusement park.

Kinda rushed, but decent chapter nonetheless.
