A few minutes into our trip back to the factory, Eghosa noticed a patch of water through a set of trees. Since we figured we had all the time in the world (spoilers: We didn't), we chose to take a quick look.
Sure enough, the patch of water was a normal-sized pond, just in the middle of nowhere. Underwater, we could see aquatic organisms living and thriving off of the environment, just like they would on our planet.
"Okay, at this point, it's not just a planet anymore. Now they're just showing us how similar they can make a completely arbitrary planet to Earth," Sam sighed.
"This is incredible," Heath marvelled.
That's when I noticed Eghosa staring off into the distance at... something. I asked her what, and she replied, "I hear something from over there... but I can't tell what it is."
I listened for it too, and it sounded like... "Crying."
"You think so?"
"Yeah. Hey, guys," I called out, getting everyone else's attention. "Someone's in those trees over there."
So the seven of us went to investigate, following the direction the crying seemed to be coming from. When we walked through the trees and finally came across the source, we found that it was a bunch of small children.

For a second, we just stared at them in silence, unsure of what to do or say. There were five of them, three girls and two boys, and none looked to me older than the age of six. Their clothes were torn, and they looked pale and incredibly thin.
"Oh my god... what happened to you guys?" Julianna gasped, a hand to her mouth in surprise.
"We... we were taken... by a big, mean man..." the littlest girl said, her lip quivering.
"Did this big, mean man hurt you?" Mackenzie asked softly, sitting down by the children.
One of the girls and one of the boys began crying. Neither of the other two girls responded. The only answer we got was the other boy nodding his head slowly.
"Oh... well, you can come with us. We won't hurt you," I offered.
"But... what if he comes back?" the girl crying said.
"We'll take care of him. Come on, let's go now," Sam said, smiling.
And so, taking the children with us, we left the trees and began our trip back to the factory.

When we left the area with the lake, a loud noise came from above. The noise turned out to be that of a helicopter, slowly flying down to meet us.
Upon landing, the doors opened, and a man walked out dramatically. He was alone, and carried a lone gun of some variety over his shoulder. Sensing trouble, I saw Sam quickly raise his left arm while Jack whistled (Sam can't whistle on his own). This was the signal for Sam's hovercraft.
"How is that supposed to come to you from Earth?" I asked Sam, right as the hovercraft teleported in.
"By doing that," Sam laughed. Then I heard Eghosa scream. We directed our attention to her to find that the man had shot all five children.
"Why did you do that!?" Eghosa screamed in bewilderment.
"Because I felt like it," the man laughed. "Now, I'm here because I sensed the power of some orbs in this area... do you kids happen to be in possession of them?"
