Where am I? What is this place? Why am I here? Should I try to get out? Should I call for help? Scream! Scream! No sound. All dark. Can't see a thing. Bang on the windows? Bang! Bang! But no sound! All dark. Can't see a thing. Try to feel for the steering wheel? Where is it? I move my hands all around. Don't feel anything. All dark. Can't see a thing. Am I standing? Am I sitting? What is this? Am I dead? Is this Limbo? Heaven? Hell? None of them? Where am I? All dark. Can't see a thing.

I woke up on the ground in a dimly lit street. As I looked around, street lights turned on. Not all of them, though. I stood up slowly. Nobody here. The street is all empty. The buildings were all boarded up. I'm at an intersection. I see now. I've been here. I know where this is. This is Parkview Boulevard. Of course! But what happened? Is this place my imagination? Is this a dream? STOP! You're questioning things again. Things that happened that night. Unforgettable things. Can't think about it. Try to forget. Find out where you are.

I continued to walk down the street, what I assumed was east. As I walked, lights in front of me turned on as I walked towards them. The ones behind me shut off. This can't be real. It mustn't be. No possible way. Unless... no. No. It's fake. I'm dreaming. It will all go back to normal soon. I'll wake up in my car, sun shining on my face. I'll drive home. I'll see Mariana. Yes. It will all go as normal. I will forget this creepy stuff ever happened.

I heard footsteps behind me. I looked back to see a figure. Not human, but so close to it. Very uncanny. What is it? I moved closer to see as out of the blackness of its figure, I saw a face. It was a human face, but it was... smiling. Not a regular smile you see everywhere, but a smile that stretched from ear-to-ear. It was so wide, I could see its lips begin to peel apart, the skin was so stretched out. Its eyes. They were normal eyes, but no irises. Just black pupils.

The figure opened its mouth to reveal a snake-like tongue wiggling its way out. I quickly turned and ran. As I ran, lights in front of me turned on and the ones behind me turned off. I was even more confused than ever. I stopped in the middle of an empty, believe it or not, street to see if the figure was behind me. I looked back, panting. There was nothing there. Just the dark street staring back at me.
