I press my foot down on the brake pedal as I approach the light. After the light is green I press down on the gas pedal, and as I am in the middle of the intersection everything slips away into darkness. Suddenly I see Alex. She is standing in front of me in the darkness.

"Welcome." She says. "This is your heaven. You are here because of an event that recently happened in your life."

"What happened all I can remember is driving and then darkness. Did I get hit by another car?" The words escape my mouth before I can think.

"I am not obligated to tell you that."

"Am I dead?"

"I can not tell you that either. I'm sorry." Then I feel my eyes opening to find that I'm in an ambulance. I look around trying to locate Alex. I look to my right. Nothing. I look left. There she is, sitting down her hair a mess, bleeding from several spots on her body, and very disheveled. I open my mouth to speak but she notices I'm awake before I can speak.

"Tyler, oh my God, I'm so glad you're awake." Her voice is soothing and her words are uplifting. I start to smile as I look her in the eyes. She smiles back looking at my eyes. "Your car is trashed, but I'm glad your alive."

"Are you okay? Besides the bleeding, is there anything else that happened?" My voice is soft and shaky, since I just woke up. "Also how long was I unconscious for?"

"Everything else is fine, you were out for about half an hour." We're on the way to the hospital to fix up your leg, and check for internal injuries." Her voice sounds so caring, and soft.

"I love your voice right now. It sounds so soothing, and caring. I love it."

"Oh my God, your so cute with that voice baby." Suddenly everything slips into darkness again. The last thing I see is Alex's face looking very concerned.
