Gigi's p.o.v

"Oh my" i took her in my arms, hugging her. "Why?" I chewed on the inside of my cheek, not really wanting to remind her of something that must be bothering her

"I have a son, he hasnt come to visit me for five years now, i think hes dead" she spoke calmly, placing her hands on her chair and rolling down the wheels

"Come inside, lets have tea together" she smiled softly at me, making it harder for me to say no. I stood behind her and softly pushed her wheel chair inside her old living room

"Wheres the kitchen?" I asked, looking around me. This house not only needed cleaning, but it also needed a lot of work, and love. And a family

"To the left my dear" her shaky voice spoke up, giving me directions. I couldnt stop thinking about the fact that this blind woman has lived here for i dont know how many years alone. By herself.

Do i really want to be alone always?

"Ill make tea, and you just tell me about yourself how about that?" I asked her, placing my hands on her wrinkled cheeks. "Sure" she smiled, and took out her hand grabbing something from the table on her left

"What can i get for you?" I asked, furrowning my eyebrows at the empty table. "Oh dear you wouldnt know" she let out a sad chuckle as i stared at her smiling

She suddenly grabbed a book, and placed it on her lap. "This" she slowly patted her hand on its cover, brushing off the dust from it

"Is my story" she continued, her shaky hand whiped the tear coming down from her cheek. "One day you'll read it from another point of view, but today, i'll be the one telling you" i nodded my head, trying my hard not to cry.

I stood up and started making tea as she started talking. "Long ago, a girl named Mariana G was born" such a beautiful name.

"She was beautiful, full of colours and life, full of happiness with all her life ahead of her. Maybe blind, but she saw in life what most people couldnt see" a smile drew itself on my face, as i stared down at my hands wondering about a lot of things

"She grew up with a family besides her, a few problems too. But a man that wanted her ever since their childhood" i turned my face to see that she hugged the book closer to her chest now

"That man brought more happiness in her life, he was so caring, so loving and so beautiful that life didnt deserve him" she stopped a second, letting out a breath. "He built this house for the princess he loved, he built their little nest and now shes too scared to leave it behind"

"He was the most beautiful man in the country, everyone went against him after choosing a blind girl for marriage" my eyes became teary as i looked down at her, she didnt seem sad, she seemed proud of that man

"He became her shelter, he showed her colors, he showed her one of the most beautiful views in the world. Still, she was blind" she stopped

"Is the tea done?" She abruptly asked, bringing her chair closer to me. "It will be, go on please" i wanted to know more about her, more about that love that didnt seem real, the love you only find in books and movies

"Oh no my dear" her hand grabbed my wrist softly. "If i told you the whole story, how can i guarantee that you'll come back for me?"

Mariana left something in my memory that i cant quite forget. I cant quite understand why was it what she had said so good that it was stuck in my memory?

She was telling her story, she was so sure of herself, knowing that her story will get me so attached that i'll come back for more.

I wonder if my story one day is going to be so interesting to make someone stay.

"Sorry" i heard a guy speak up, making me look at him confused. I realised we were both now on the floor. I mustve drifted too far away in my thoughts

"No its my fault, cant really daydream when you walk in a crowded mall can you" i rubbed my neck nervously, picking up my stuff from the floor.

"No you cant, especially during hunting seasons" he laughed, as we both stood up at the same time. "Yeah its the holidays" i finally looked up to see his face.

He was truely beautiful, his green eyes stared into mine as his pinkish lips formed a perfect smirk. His hands pressed on mine above my book, his dimples. He was cute

"Im harry, Harry styles" he smiled, sliding a hand in his pocket. "Im Hadid, Gigi hadid" i saw his smile grow bigger as i laugh at myself

"Thats messed up" we both said at the same time, making it even more awkward. "Hey um can i have your number? Just in case the hunting season is over, so i can tell you?" He raised an eyebrow at me, giving me a hoping smile

"Yeah sure" we exchanged numbers, making me wonder how the fuck is there so many cute guys here in texas. What was i ever doing back in my hometown?

"Ill see you around" he gave me a wink and walked away from me. I stood there smiling dumbly at myself, before my phone suddenly buzzed.

I thought directly about harry, so i picked up my phone to see a private number sending me a text

'Karma is real, and its a bitch. Im coming for ya'
