Jayden suddenly realized the pain in my voice. "What's wrong Stella?,why are you crying?." "Megan,she...she fell off the cliff at the safe place." I suddenly started crying again. Jayden said he was a few minutes away from the safe place. I guess he came a little earlier to see me sooner. Then I heard a knock at the door and heard Jayden say "Stella open the door, please." I didn't open the door for a long time. I stood in the same place I was when he called. I could tell he didn't leave either. Although I thought he would leave when he said "I get it, you need space right now to think about things", but he didn't leave. I heard him cry a little five minutes after he said that.
I realized the way I was leaving him in the cold snow at my door was ridiculous. So I opened the door and was him sitting next to the opening. He looked so blue, and I don't mean emotionally. I left him in the cold for so long he started losing his color. You could tell he was crying with the tears that froze onto his cheek and neck. I told him to come inside. I gave him a blanket to warm up in and gave him a warm cup of coffee. To be honest I need one to because I havent slept all night with what happened to Megan. Then when I went to grab a cup of coffee he put his hand on my wrist before I could start pouring coffee into my brown mug. "You need to sleep Stella, you haven't slept all night. I can tell." He took the cup and put it back into the cabinet and put the coffee maker back on the stove. He hugged me and said "we're in this together" and I started crying. "I will be here every step of the way Stella."
