I swiftly turn, like someone snatched my weave. "N-nick. You're... here.." I start to stutter. "I was excited to see you.."
They both look at me like I'm weird. "W-well I mean both of you... all of you!" Good going, Tom I think.
"Anyway," Cory breaks the awkward silence. "Ashlie will be here shortly, and Uni's in his office, if want to go say hi." Cory says, as he leaves me with Nick.
"S-so.. " Nick starts. "What's been happening with you?" I question. Stupid stupid stupid "Not much, mostly video games. Nothing new, really." He says, fiddling with his phone. How could someone as great as you be such a small talker? "Vright. Of course. How could I not have guessed?"
I say, blushing. So dumb sometimes "Well, I should probably go unpack. Could we finished this conversation later?" He walks away.
"O-okay.. Nick. B- bye." I continue to blush, as his figure disappears around the corner.
