Andy dropped me off at my house at three in the morning. He asked if he wanted me to come inside, but I said no. I was going to go to sleep anyway.

"Do you sleep during the day?" I asked him before exiting the car.

"I don't sleep at all anymore."

"Oh...I'll see you later then."

"Goodnight, Leah."

I climbed back in through my window as quietly as I could manage, nearly falling on my face when my foot got caught in my curtains. But I righted myself, closed the window and flopped onto my bed, rubbing my eyes. Kicking off my shoes, I rolled over and fell asleep.

I woke up Sunday morning with the sunlight streaming through my open window and onto my face. Didn't I close that last night? I groaned and rolled over, coming face to face with a pair of bright blue eyes.

"Hi." Andy said in a deep morning voice and smiled.

"Andy," I sighed. "How the hell did you-"

"The window." He chuckled. "I got bored after I dropped you off, so I came here hoping you were still awake. But you weren't so I watched you sleep. You snore a little by the way. Like if a kitten could snore, but that kitten were a human. Like a weird snoring kitten-human hybrid of weird fur and skin."

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

"I don't know. But wake up! I've been here forever and I'm bored."

I sat up fast and looked at my phone. It was ten a.m. I groaned and laid back down, covering my eyes with my arm.

"Ya know, you kinda seem like a total creep right now, Andy." I peeked at him from under my arm.

He smiled and shrugged. "Well, I didn't just watch you sleep. I was also writing some new songs."

"Then why did you have be in my room while you wrote songs all night?"

"Because I didn't want to be alone."

I sat up again and stumbled into my bathroom, rubbing my eyes as I yawned. Andy followed me, his footsteps falling oddly silent on the hard wood floor. He leaned against the counter and watched me with intense eyes. I looked at him and then looked away, a blush rising up my neck and filling my cheeks. Andy wouldn't stop staring at me, so I had to break the intense silence.

"U-um Andy... I need to shower and get dressed so um, can you get out?"

Andy blinked and swallowed hard. "Yeah...sorry," he mumbled and walked out, closing the door behind him.

I took a deep breath and locked the door. Now that Andy is a vampire he's so intimidating. And his height doesn't help. I feel like he's always eyeing my throat. Even last night he seemed to be having a hard time controlling himself.

I ran a hand through my fiery red mane and started to get ready. After my shower I had to put the clothes I had on last night since Andy was out in my room. Once I was done I opened the door to find Andy sitting on my bed, writing something down in his journal as he hummed softly to himself. When he heard me come out he closed the book and stood up, his eyes slowly scanning my all black attire, similar to his.

"Hey Andy..." I said and pointed at the sun filtering in through my window. "How are you going to get out?"

Andy pulled a bottle of sunscreen from inside his jacket and smiled. "I got some before I came over here. Figured it's worth a try," he said and opened the bottle, squeezing a small glob into his hand. Then he rubbed it into the pale skin of his hand and his upper arm.
