"Ahh, today was great!"

I jumped to my bed making me jump again. I laid my arms to the sides and looked up at the ceiling thinking.

"I feel free! Like I don't have to worry as I usually do."

I smiled and rolled on my bed like a child. Then a particular song came to mind that I heard on the radio. So I singed it out loud since no one was around,

Wait till your announced

We've not yet last all our graces,

The hounds will stay in chains,

Look upon your greatness

That you send, the call out I'll send, the call out I'll send, The call-

I fell off the bed, which stung my back.

"Ughh! No more rolling on the bed." I told myself. I rubbed my back and then scratched my head.

I feel like I'm forgetting something...

I stood up and raced to the calendar. I searched for today's date. My eyes widened.

Today, September 13th.....Thursday.

"The day's coming...." I whispered pointing at the other date.

September 18th

I closed my eyes and sighed.

Sorry mom, but I'm not going to school those days. It's too risky.

I walked to the kitchen. I pulled my hair but making my bangs stay as usual. Then I heard a knock at the door.

"Better not be Zach!"

As I slowly opened the door, I noticed no one was there.

Kids....

I was about to close the door when I looked to the ground and found another letter.

I don't like the feeling of this...

I looked around one last time. "No one." I thought.

Then I carefully picked up the letter. I closed the door and sat on my couch.

I guess its time...

I opened the first envelope.

I looked at the neat and clean handwriting. "Doesn't look like this person made mistakes here." I thought out loud.

I took a deep breath and read.

------------ADAM'S POV---------------

"Oh so now your all better?" asked Zach.

"Yeah, the cold can't keep me down."I joked.

"Ha better, the championship is coming up." explained Zach.

"I'll juke them asses and score the winning goal!" I pretend to kick a ball.

"Nahh! I'll score the goal if you don't mind." Zach then pretended he took the ball away from me and kicked the imaginary ball. "Goal!"

We laughed and joked around like kids in the hallway.

"Lets go to lunch already! I'm hungry." complained Zach.

"Your always hungry!" I joked.

"True." he said while rubbing his stomach.

Just then I saw Carolina pass by a few feet away.
