Later at the connecting airport, the guys sat in the gate and took care of Berlin as they waited for their next plane.
Berlin had been crying ever since the plane landed and this caused many people to stare at the now tired rock stars.
Gustav was now walking around with Berlin in his arms while trying to calm her down.
Georg frantically searched Berlin's diaper bag for her ear medicine (which was almost confiscated by airport security due to some of it being in a syringe.) then, sighed in relief when he found it.
"Ssssh...It's okay Berlin...It's not that bad." Gustav said as he gently bounced her
Soon, Georg came over and joined Gustav in comforting Berlin as he tried to give her the medicine.
This resulted in a loud scream from Berlin as people turned to stare at Georg and Gustav.
Georg and Gustav quickly (and quietly) tried to calm the crying baby in their care.
However, when Bill and Tom came back from the coffee shop, Berlin was still not calm.
"What happened to her?" Bill asked
"I don't know. I think the pressure from the last plane trip irritated her ear infection." Tom said "Georg, did you give Lin the medicine?"
Georg nodded in response.
Gustav looked over as he bounced Berlin in an attempt to stop her crying.
But as he caught sight of Bill's death glare, he slowly began to stop bouncing her.
Soon, Bill walked up to Gustav and held out his arms saying "I think it's my turn to hold Berlin now."
Gustav handed Berlin to Bill who tried to comfort her by cooing at her, singing to her and cuddling her but to his surprise, this also didn't work.
"What's wrong, baby?" Bill asked as Berlin cried loudly as he soon felt the cold stares of the people around him as he tried to continue to comfort Berlin.
Tom noticed his brother slowly becoming tired and frazzled as he looked away from the departure board (which now announced their flight as being 'delayed') and walked up to Bill and tried to help him.
"Ssssh...sssh...It's going to be alright,Linnie. It's not going to hurt for long." Tom said
Bill looked over at Tom and laughed at him "I just told her that."
"I wasn't sure if she heard you so I decided to tell her." Tom said
Bill just rolled his eyes and continued to walk around with Berlin in his arms as he again tried to comfort her.
Tom began to look through Berlin's bags and got her favorite toys, the glow worm and the peas in a pod and he followed Bill around with them in tow.
Meanwhile, Georg and Gustav looked at the departure board again.
"Looks like we're going to have to stay here for the night." Georg said
Gustav nodded.
"I hope we brought enough items for Berlin." he said
"Knowing how Bill packs, I think it's safe to say we have enough to last through the entire promo tour!" Georg said
Later, the guys managed to get a hotel room for the night.
When they finally got into the suite, the only concern was where to sleep.
"Bill and I will take this room. Where are you two going to sleep?" Tom asked Georg and Gustav
"I'll take the bed in the other room." Georg said
"I found a fold out bed in the couch so I guess I can take that." Gustav said, shrugging
"But where's Berlin going to sleep?" Bill asked as he pushed Berlin's stroller back and forth to get her to go to sleep
"Her cradle can go in my room." Georg offered as he began to gather Berlin's things
Bill, Tom and Gustav looked at each other and then looked at Berlin.
"Okay." Gustav said
"I think that would work." Tom said then turned to Bill
Bill smiled then carefully lifted Berlin out of her stroller.
"Sounds good to me. Kommen, let's tuck our little girl in." he said as Tom took the cradle out of Berlin's stroller then, all of them went into Georg's room to tuck Berlin into bed for the night.
Berlin looked up at her fathers as they prepared her for bed.
"Where are her bath toys?" Georg asked as he held Berlin who was wrapped up in a towel in one arm and bath supplies in the other hand as he looked through the bag they were in.
Bill went over to Berlin's diaper bag and started to look through it.
"Lotion...nein. Blanket...nein. Panda toy...nein. Pacifiers...nein. Here we are!" Bill said as he went through the bag then found the bath toys
Tom walked over and took the bath toys from Bill who held them out for him to take.
Then, Tom passed the bath toys onto Georg who continued on to the bathroom to prepare Berlin's bath.
Later as the guys got ready for bed, Georg was getting Berlin ready for bed.
He himself was tired but, he tried to manage getting her dressed.
"Ssssh...It's alright, sweetheart." Georg said as he walked with Berlin in his arms while comforting her then, putting her in her cradle and continuing to comfort her by waving a stuffed animal in front of her.
This got Berlin to smile as it did Georg.
Soon, Berlin's eyelids began to flutter and she yawned.
Georg put Berlin's panda toy next to her as she began to fall asleep then, he tucked her in and kissed her on the forehead.
Soon, he noticed Gustav turn on a light as he woke up from hearing Georg taking care of Berlin.
Georg looked over and asked "What are you doing? I just got her to sleep!"
"I can't sleep...Is Berlin alright?" Gustav asked
"What?" Georg replied, confused
"I said 'Is Berlin alright'? I heard her crying." Gustav said
"She's fine. She's just tired...Didn't you say you couldn't sleep?" Georg replied
"Ja. I may have gotten into an argument with Bill while you were taking care of Berlin...And now, he's not talking to me." Gustav said
"And that's why you can't sleep?" Georg asked
"It's a little more than that. I had this weird dream that things got so bad between me and Bill that it escalated into a conflict among everyone in the band. It had me so freaked out and worried for Berlin." Gustav said
"And that's why you're asking about Berlin?" Georg asked
"Well, yeah." Gustav replied
Soon, Bill came stumbling in while opening the door with a loud 'BAM!'
"Gustav?" he asked with fear in his voice
"Hallo Billi," Gustav greeted "you had the dream too?"
"I'm so sorry! That argument was completely out of line and I shouldn't have have threatened to kick you out!" Bill apologized
"I'm the one who should be sorry! I questioned your artistic views!" Gustav said
Soon, the apologies were halted when Berlin started to cry.
Bill started to run over to Berlin's cradle (as did Gustav) but, this failed as both band mates tripped over each other and ended up on the floor.
"I'll get her." Georg said, laughing at his friends as they tried to pull themselves together
The next day, Tom held a surprisingly quiet Berlin as Bill, Georg and Gustav slept peacefully on the plane.
He cooed at her as he fed her.
"You're being so quiet, Linnie." Tom cooed with a laugh "It may not last for long."
Berlin smiled up at Tom as she finished her bottle.
Then, Tom put the bottle down and brought Berlin up to his shoulder and began to burp her.
Berlin hiccuped as Tom looked around then, down at her as she looked sleepily up at him.
"Time for a nap, is it Linnie?" Tom asked as he smiled down at the small infant in his arms
