I woke up to the sun shining in my window. I looked around my room. It had looked so different in the light then last night. My dad knocked on my door and walked in.

"Good morning. I've got to head to school already. I forgot to tell you how to get there. There's a gps built into your bike, and I've already set the destination. And dress lightly. It'll be hot today." He whispered this like he'd practiced it which made me smile because he put some thought into it. "Breakfast is in the kitchen. Just make sure to put your plate up when your finished." I nodded in agreement. "School starts at 9. You have an hour to get ready." He smiled and began to close the door.

"Oh and dad." When I said this, he smiled.

"Yes?" He replied.

"Good morning to you too." I said. He smiled again and closed the door.

I got up and decided to look for something to wear. I looked in my closet to find a whole bunch of clothes. There were so many. I decided to wear some blue jean shorts, a cute top, and some sandals.

I made my way to the kitchen, and ate some pancakes. I remembered to put my plate up, and went upstairs to the bathroom. There, I did my makeup with the makeup he provided which I wasn't sure how he knew about that sort of stuff. I just figured he got help from a friend. Maybe he had a girlfriend I didn't know about.

After getting ready, I got my backpack which was filled with binders and textbooks I needed. It was very heavy. I hope I don't have to actually carry this. I went out the door and to the garage.

The bike had a basket on the front to carry stuff in. I put my backpack in it. The gps immediately started giving directions to the school. I left the driveway with high expectations of the day.

I had arrived at school just on time. The ride lasted a good 20 minutes. I parked my bike with the hundreds of other bikes. It took me a while to figure it out, but I did it. I grabbed my backpack and looked at my surroundings. There were students on the grass, on the steps, and getting off the buses.

I walked up the stairway to the school. The school was like any other regular school. It was made up of red brick in a rectangle shape. As I opened the door, I noticed all the lockers there were. I began walking forward, not sure where I was going. All of a sudden, a guy on his skateboard barely missed me, but I tumbled forward. I ran into a guy leaning against his locker talking to his friends. I had seen him when I walked in. I looked back at the skateboard guy not noticing the guy holding me. I looked at him. I was instantly paralyzed. He was beautiful. His eyes were like stars, and his hair swished perfectly. His skin was flawless. He was almost the same height as me but a little taller. I snapped out of my gaze.

"Umm thanks." I said blushing.

"Oh it's no problem." He said. His voice so soft yet so strong.

Thinking quickly, I asked,"Do you know where locker number 22 is?"

"You're in luck. It's just three lockers down from mine." He said this while pointing at a locker with the number 22 on it.

"Thanks", I said while blushing again. I began to walk away towards my locker.

"I'll guess I'll see you around." He called back to me. I turned around while walking backwards a little.

"Yeah." I smiled. "You will."
