It was chaos. The teachers were being thrown everywhere. Their was stuff falling from the roof.

I immediately shut the door, so the class couldn't see. I looked around for my dad and Mrs. Robinson. As I was searching, I found the monster. Except it wasn't a monster. It was a boy. I had seen him before. He was the skateboard guy that ran into me. I walked towards him, but I was stopped.

"Meika! What are you doing out here? You have to go back to the class!" He screamed this from a distance. Their was a strong wind blowing against his face. I noticed Becky. She was laying on the floor unconscious.

"I'm sorry dad!" I said this while marching forward. As I looked back at him, I noticed Becky had gotten up. She dusted herself off and looked at me understandingly. It seemed like she knew something no one else did.

Everyone was so hurt. I just wanted to help them. Becky nodded her head. I knew that I had to go. I can't turn around now. I wiped my tears not knowing I was crying.

As I got closer, I walked slower while hunched over a little. He noticed me instantly. I looked at him with care in my eyes.

"Go away! You can't help me. Something's wrong with me." He shouted at me. After this, a  fire ball shot from his hands involuntarily. I was stunned. How was this happening? Where was all these powers coming from? Is this magic?

"I can help you." I said in a normal voice. The chaos died down.

"How?" He asked me while crying.

"Take my hand." I said calmingly. I had no idea where all my courage had come from.

"Why would I take your hand?" He replied meanly.

"Because I was just like you once." I said. The chaos died down more. "I was felt alone and scared. I felt like I had no one." The chaos picked back up again. He couldn't control any of it. "But then I realized that I wasn't alone. And you're not alone either. You have teachers and classmates that do care about your safety."

"No they don't." He said harshly.

"I do." I said. He dropped his hands immediately. The chaos stopped all at once. It was quiet. "Here. Take my hand." I said this while holding my hand out. He hesitated. "It's going to okay." As I said this, he took my hand. When I touched his hand, a wave swept over everything and everyone. I released some sort of power. I looked around me. The school was back to normal. It looked as if nothing had ever happened. The teachers looked healthy and refreshed. My dad ran up to me. I dropped the boy's hand to hug him. It was the first real embrace we had had. He held me so tight I almost couldn't breath. He let go.

"I thought you would get hurt." He said this and then hugged me again. It was so warm and nice. He let go. We looked at each other for a while. I had started to cry again without knowing it because I was thinking about how my life would be without him. Becky came over, and he stepped out of the way.

"Are you ok?" She asked me.

"Yeah. I'm great." I said. I don't know why, but she hugged me to. It was like a motherly hug. She let go, and her tone changed to a serious voice. "Meet me in my classroom after school. I need to talk to you about something." She whispered. I nodded my head.
