After talking with Becky, my dad hugged me one last time before going back to class. He kept saying, "Don't do that. You had me so worried." Once I got back to class with Becky, the class flooded around me. They kept saying, "You're a hero! You saved the whole school!!" I honestly didn't feel like a hero though.

"Are you ok? What happened?" Cameron had asked this once I was able to move back to my seat. Everyone had looked at me like a goddess. When I was about to tell him, Mrs. Robinson spoke up.

"Today, we encountered much trouble. The prophecy has officially been fulfilled. We must rejoice and congratulate Meika for the help." She said. Everyone was staring at me. I blushed. But I couldn't help wonder what she meant by prophecy. Was the whole thing supposed to occur? What's with all the magic? I was beyond confused. "We can now start training." Becky said with joy. The class jumped with joy. What was she talking about?

"Meika! That's amazing." Cameron said this with awe. I blushed again.

Throughout the day, people were coming up to me and praising me. My first day was great truthfully. And I can thank Cameron for that. Without him I'd have no friends. He introduced me to his friend group, and his friends became my friends. For once, I was happy.

The bell rang. It was the end of the day, and it was time for me to meet with Mrs. Robinson. I walked into her classroom to find her sitting at her desk reading. I knocked on the already open door.

"Hello Meika. I have so much to tell you. Please close the door behind you." She said this while closing her book. I closed the door and walked closer to her desk.

"What do you need to tell me?" I asked.

"The prophecy states that one day a very powerful angel will enter our school and grant us our magic back. Dark and light because she was born from both." Becky said this all in a very calm manner. I was confused.

"So you're saying that magic actually exists?" I questioned her.

"Yes it does exist. I know this is a lot to take in, but if-"

"I believe you." I said.

"What? But why?" She asked.

"Because you believed in me when no one else did. The class decided that we should volunteer someone to go out and help. No one would stand up because they were scared. I simply volunteered to go. None of the students in there believed in me. They were just concerned like they knew I would die. My own father didn't even believe in me. But somehow you did." I said.

"Meika. This is a school of magic. We've been teaching these few magical kids about how to use it when the prophecy is fulfilled. We've been preparing for this day a long time. There's no easy way to put this, but..."She hesitated. "You're the prophecy. Magic is born within all of us. When you walked through those doors to this school, you released magic. You just helped us find it again." She said. I was shocked. I am no powerful angel. There was a long awkward silence. "When you grabbed the boy's hand, you healed us all. You healed the broken-hearted, the torn apart school, and yourself." She said.
