Melanie POV
I was sitting in my room with my feet resting on my desk. I was scrolling through Pinterest, trying to find some cute ideas for my date outfit. I gave up and hit the power button on my phone. I sighed and got up from my chair. Levi was lounging on my bed, not having anything else to do. I walked over to my closet and opened the doors. I looked through all of my dresses and shirts. I couldn't find anything to wear. Then, I saw my new dress that I had bought specifically for Dax and I's date night. I eagerly pulled it out of my closet and showed it to Levi. I squealed, "Levi look! This is totally what I'm wearing." Levi got up and walked over to stand beside me, checking out the dress in the mirror I was standing in front of.
He put his arm around me and said cooly, "I think you'll look amazing. Why don't you go try it on?" I agreed and walked out of the room towards the bathroom. I opened the door and turned on the lights. I took off my sweatshirt and leggings before I put the dress on. I zipped the back of the dress up and looked at my reflection in the mirror. The dress was a sleeveless, black dress that hugged my waist and flared out at the bottom. The "skirt" part had a hint of red at the hem of it and went down to right above my knee. I fixed my hair a bit, not really caring how it looked right now, I'd fix it later. I grabbed my old clothes from the floor and ran back excitedly to my room. I entered and Levi applauded. I smiled and twirled around.
Levi suggested, "Okay, so which do you want to do first, hair or makeup?" I contemplated and decided to do my hair first, so it wouldn't get in the way of my makeup.
I answered, "Hair, that way we won't have to worry about my hair getting in the way. Levi nodded and I pranced over to my makeup desk. I sat down and opened the drawer full of makeup. I grabbed all the essentials and sat them on top of my desk. I began to work my magic as Levi plopped back down on my bed.

I amired myself in the mirror, realizing how long I'd taken doing my hair and makeup, even with a little help from Levi. I stood up and brushed off my dress. Levi noticed and looked at me. He looked blown-away. I smiled and he said, "You look amazing, sis."
"Thank you, I bet you will too for your date with Jack." I replied, adding a giggle at the end.
Levi grinned and blushed. I walked over to my closet and dug through all my shoes, trying to find my nice shoes, not my boots that I use for riding and wearing to school. I found my black, sude wedges and put them on. I stood up and looked myself over once again in the mirror. I reached for my purse and realized it wasn't there. I freaked and turned around in total panic mode. I hear someone snicker and I snap my head towards the source of the sound. I saw Levi standing there, my purse clutched in his hand. I charged at him and he screamed like a little girl. I caught up to him and punched him really hard in the arm. Let's just say he let go pretty quickly. I glared at him and he walked back to my bed and sat down for the one-hundreth time.
Suddenly, my phone rang and I saw it was Dax. I picked it up and I heard his voice flow through the speaker on my phone. "Hey Mel," he said.
I swooned and said back, "Hey Dax." I cringed, knowing that was really awkward.
He chuckled softly and asked, "You ready for our date, sweetheart?"
"Yep. Are you coming to pick me up soon?" I replied.
He paused, "Actually, I'm on my way right now. I'm about 5 minutes away from your house. Well, see ya soon, pumpkin." That nickname was adorable.
"Okay. See ya, love." I replied back shakily. I started to act nervous and I paced back and forth. Levi looked up from his phone, which I presumed he was texting Jack on, and walked over to me.
