During the Night

Tyler woke up with a raging pain in his neck and back. Josh was still asleep. Tyler didn't really know what to do while he was waiting for Josh to wake up. His phone was dead and he wasn't hungry. He started remembering what happened last night. Some was unclear, but slowly started to come back as he put little pieces together in his head. Josh started to wake up which caught Tyler's attention.

"Good morning Ty." Josh said with a tired smile.

"Good morning J." Tyler spoke softly to Josh as he went over to go sit on Josh's left side of the bed.

Josh gave a little giggle before looking into Tyler's chocolate brown colored eyes that Josh has always adored.

"What?" Tyler said innocently, and with a hint of curiosity.

"Just thinking about the event that happened between us last night. Nothing to special that you need to worry about." Josh gave a teasing smirk, waiting to see what Tyler's reaction would be.

"Oh shut up, you and I both know you thought it was special." Tyler retorted, lightly shoving Josh's arm.

"You wish."

Tyler gave a roll to his eyes before Josh started to speak again.

"How did you know?" Josh asked in question.

"Know what?" Tyler honestly didn't know what Josh was asking.

"You know, the kiss. How did you know I would accept the kiss?"

"Uh, I dunno. I kind of just took a big guess and went for it. I've actually wanted to kiss those soft lips of yours ever since that day you saved me from getting beat up from Tim." Tyler spoke shyly.

"I wanted to kiss your lips ever since I started realizing how sweet you are." Josh knew he sounded really cliché, but he didn't know how else to put it. "When Tim started to bully you, you never did anything about it. Naturally guys respond to another guy bullying them, or teasing them by starting a fight. You didn't see to be wanting to get into a fight."

"Well I don't really know how to fight people, or even talk shit about someone in front of them. Even if I wanted too, I wouldn't." Tyler gave a shrug to Josh and looked away.

"Hey T-." Josh was stopped from his sentence by his lunch being served to him. He was about to tell Tyler about Blurryface, but he couldn't now. Josh was served a peanut butter sandwich, a bag of chips of his choosing, a cookie of his choosing, and water. The lady that brought him his food left, and so Tyler started to talk.

"I gotta go J. I promised my mom I would only be here until lunch." Tyler kissed Josh on the lips one last time before he left. The same smirk that had appeared on both of their faces from last night was showing, and they both couldn't help stare at each other for a minute before Tyler left.

Tyler didn't want to leave Josh. He was both scared to leave Josh there all alone, and he was scared he might have to see Tim at school. When Tyler arrived at school he went to the attendance lady and asked for a pass.

"Could I have a pass to class?" Tyler spoke shyly.

"Yeah sure, what's your name hun?"

From the attendance lady's desk you can kind of see inside of Mr. Inboden's office. Tyler could see Tim standing there right next to Coach and and across from the principal. All of their ears were placed close to what looked like Josh's phone. He was cut off from what he was seeing by the attendance lady asking him the same question.

"Hun, what's your name?" Speaking louder.

"Oh uh, Tyler Joseph. Hey do you know what's happening with the Inboden, Tim, and Coach? Tyler obviously knew that Tim beat Josh up, but why would they be having theirs ears close to what looked like Josh's phone?

"Do you know Josh Dun and Tim Skipper? The basketball players?"

"Yeah."

"Well Tim beat up Josh, and from what I over heard them talking about is that Josh apparently turned on his video recorder, and set the phone inside his pocket while Tim beat him up. And considering Josh had proof that Tim beat him up, Tim is most likely going to get suspended from playing basketball ever again. He'll probably then be suspended for a week from school, or expelled depending on how bad Josh's injuries were ." The attendance lady spoke softly so known of her coworkers heard her talking about this, since she probably shouldn't be. "Here ya go Tyler." She handed him his pass giving Tyler a genuine smile.

Tyler took one last glance inside of Mr. Inboden's office before leaving the main office. He was hoping that Tim would be expelled. He is tired of Tim's crap, it's time for him to leave.

This is such a short chapter, and not the best that I have written. I was gonna add more to this, but I thought it should go with the next chapter. Whoops. Also sorry for not really adding cute Joshler stuff to this chapter. This is my first time doing this stuff, and I'm still trying to decide if I'm comfortable with writing love stories.
