Josh's night sleep was shit. He couldn't stop thinking about what Blurryface was probably doing to Tyler's body through the whole night. He only got three hours of sleep, and has a basketball game to go to tonight which he didn't know about until he asked coach yesterday when their next game was. Josh's mom was able to take him to school this time. Josh thanked God for that. When he woke up this morning everything seemed different. Josh couldn't explain what it was that felt different. It just did, but why?
"So are you going to spend the night at Tyler's tonight, or?" Laura said to Josh.
"I'm not for sure anymore. He said he might have plans with some other friends tonight, but he didn't say what." Josh responded back a little too aggressively.
"Are you okay Josh? You seem to be on edge this morning." Laura spoke with concern.
"I'm fine." Josh spoke with easing his aggressive tone. "Love you mom, bye. I'll text you before school ends to tell you if I'm going to spend the night or not." Josh left the car with a smile that was so fake it seemed like one of Josh's old friends. (*Cough* Tim)
"Okay, Love you Josh!" Laura yelled out the rolled down window since Josh had already closed the door on her.
"Love you too mom!" Josh yelled back not even caring what others thought of him saying that. Normally he would be too embarrassed to say that loudly. He was always paranoid that whenever he said that to his relatives around his peers he would be made fun of. Ever since Josh got rid of Blurryface, he hasn't been paranoid. He walks through the halls fine, there are no signs of peoples facial features getting bigger as they passed by him. Josh thinks that at least.
"Hey Josh!" A familiar voice yelled to him as the person ran to him with heavy breathing. "Goodness, can never catch a break. Every time I try to go faster than walking I have heavy breathing, or I see some random black smoky figure."
"Oh, um... Hi Ty? How are you feeling?" Josh questioned with so much worry, but yet so much curiosity. Tyler didn't sound like Blurryface. What happened to him?
"Hey Josh? Um I'm good. I should be asking how you're feeling. You sound like a confused puppy." Tyler sounded just as confused as Josh was now.
"Nah, I'm good. Let's head to class then." Josh had never held Tyler's hand before, but since they were now dating he had the urge to hold his hand. Tyler seemed normal enough, didn't seem like Blurryface was the one speaking. He reached for Tyler's hand.
"Josh, what the hell are you doing man?" Tyler backed away from Josh in confusion, and with what looked like a hint of disgust.
"What do you mean 'what are you doing man?' we're dating. I thought you would be comfortable with it." Josh sound offended and hurt. Tyler sounded sounded a different kind of offended, but why?
"What the fuck, ew, no. This is a Christian high school... Why would there be gay ass people here?" Tyler spoke in seriousness and disgust.
Tyler wasn't kidding. He was being dead ass serious. Is this Blurryface's doing? To making Tyler think that they aren't dating, or is Blurryface just pretending to be Tyler?
"I was just kidding man, jeez. Take a chill pill." Josh tried to sound like he was joking, but he was so confused at this point.
Tyler scoffed a little uncomfortably before speaking, "Okay man. Whatever ya say. Talk to you in pre-calculus."
"Yeah, alright." Josh gave a half hearted smile still trying to piece together what the actual hell just happened.
Josh started heading down the hall, catching glimpses of people making sure they didn't suspect something just happened. Their eyes, their faces, their noses, their whole face.... bigger. It's happening again, but why?
