Ch. 12

Sophia's POV- December 2016

I smiled at Adrian's roommate, Valentin as he made his way over.

"Hey"

"Hi" I greeted.

He smiled when I stepped forward to hug him.

"I didn't know if I should hug you or not"

"I always accept hugs" I told him.

I kissed his cheek and pulled away. 

"Let me fix your tie" I said.

I laughed as he leaned down a bit so I could fix it. I turned when I heard a throat clear and I rolled my eyes when I saw it was just George.

"Ignore him, he usually goes away" I informed Valentin.

He chuckled and I stepped back when I was done.

"Sophia"

I sighed and turned to look at George.

"Darn, you're still here" I stated.

George chuckled and stepped forward.

"Dina said I'd find you here"

I nodded and hugged him when he pulled me against him.

"You didn't sit with us"

"You could have come to me" I answered back.

He nodded.

"Dad didn't want to step on any toes, he told me you got upset with him today"

I shook my head.

"It's ok now, I'll talk with him tomorrow to let him sweat it out" I said.

He chuckled and looked at Valentin.

"You must be Adrian"

Val laughed and shook his head.

"I'm Adrian's roommate, Valentin"

George smiled and I rolled my eyes when they both began speaking Russian. It was nice to see Val's eyes light up at someone knowing his native tongue. I let them talk, and I smiled at Adrian as he made his way over as he left the locker room.

"Good game" I told Adrian.

He smiled and leaned down. I frowned when he kissed my cheek when George cleared his throat.

"Soph, introduce me to your special friend"

I looked at adrian and sighed.

"Enzo's son, George" I introduced.

Adrian nodded and shook George's hand. 

"Nice to meet you man, Val here gave a good word in for you"

I smiled at Valentin who nodded at Adrian.

"Do you have a ride back?" I asked George.

He nodded.

"Yeah, dad is waiting for me in Dina's office"

I nodded.

"Have her home before midnight, yeah? Her car will turn into a pumpkin if she's not home before midnight"

I shook my head as Adrian chuckled and nodded.

"Alright, well I'll see you at home. It was nice to meet you too, Valentin more though"

"Bye" I said.

George laughed and walked away from us. I turned to Adrian who smiled.

"Alright, let's go"
