Ambra's POV
We were all sitting in the kitchen in the next morning.
"I think we should go to the pool today" I said, eating an strawberry.
"That sounds fun" Matt said.
"Yea, we haven't went swimming in a while" Taylor said.
"swimming doesn't sound that fun" Dad said.
I laughed. "Haha, good thing we didn't invite you"
Dad sighed, as he opened up a beer. "Whatever"
"Should you be drinking that?" Matt asked.
"I told you, I'm supposed to be able to drink normal and not be an alcoholic again"
"Ok, well, it's not normal, it never will be normal, no ones gonna just forget that. It'll follow you around for good. You're an alcoholic. You always will be." I said, taking the beer outta his hands and drinking it.
My dad smacked it onto the floor.
"What the hell-"
"You're only 15!"
"Ok! I'm not the alcoholic here" I yelled louder than him.
"Dad, she does it all the time. It's fine" Matt said.
"Yea. It's just....what she does" Nash said.
"Ok, well no one asked you Nash. Anyway, how often? Maybe I should be here more-"
"NO! DEAR GOD, I'LL KILL MYSELF, DON'T COME HERE AGAIN" I yelled.
"Don't speak to me like that!"
"I'll speak to you however I goddamn please" I said, going to the fridge.
I heard Dad get up and he pulled my shoulder so I looked at him, and everyone got silent.
The tension.
"Apologise"
"Wha?"
"Apologise"
"No" I laughed.
"Yes"
"Why don't you apologise? For being abusive, an alcoholic, and a douche bag. Apologise for being someone who screwed me up, so I can't trust anyone, so I had anger and anxiety issues, and apologise for giving me nightmares every night so I can't sleep. Go ahead. APOLOGISE."
"I already have"
"Well, it's not good enough. Because nothing from you-is ever good enough. Your apologises aren't enough, your coming back isn't good enough, even you aren't good enough. So....maybe you should go"
Dad shoved me and I fell on the ground.
"Learn some respect"
I stood up and said "get out"
"What? I own this house"
"So does mom and you were never invited here. And you asked us to lie to our mom. You need to leave"
"No"
"You have a minute to get your bags and leave or imma wip out my phone and call 911. Go."
Dad rolled his eyes, went, grabbed his bags, and stopped before he left.
"Listen, Ambra-"
"Please just leave" Matt said, standing up with me.
"I wanted to let you guys know, I have a new wife and kids. I'm completely trust worthy around alcohol. I'm a step dad. They don't even know about my alcohol problem. I was never a threat"
I nodded. "But you are now"
He nodded and let his shoulders sag.
"Well...I love you"
"I know you do. I'll keep that in mind"
And he left.
"Ambra, are you on?" J asked as the guys came over.
"I'm fine guys. Um....I don't feel like going to the pool anymore"
"Are you sure? It might help" Shawn said.
"Yes! I'm sure. Just leave me alone. I'm going out" I said.
I paused before I left.
"No one follow me" I said.
"Why? Not that we would" Hayes asked.
"Because, I said not to" I yelled and slammed the door, stomping past dad as he got in his car.
"Ambra-"
"Leave me alone" I yelled.
